Optionally, ask a friendly Glom to kill them. They should come back "affected" again. ninja.gif

Are you offering? Because I might take you up on that, good sir.

Gaudiguch is on the Illithoid side too...or at least it seems that it will be. suspicious.gif

Okay. I saw him just now. My main problem with the Moors is there are so many stuff you can do, and unless you have good deductive powers, not everything is easy to figure out. I can't even find out how to get those darned kestrels, and it's just for a recipe more than Moors quests.

Think about where birds usually are.

Newton (Finks and Gnomes): Requires much running back and forth between the various stages of Newton, so easiest to complete before you run out of PORTALS. Of course, this usually only applies to alts since it takes a long while to figure out how to even start the quests. If you plan on doing both, the second quest is usually easier after having completed one since the two quests have a few overlap sections, although I have heard that if you do opposing quests then the second one cancels the first out.
-Difficulty: Easy - Not the easiest by far, but a relatively simple quest nonetheless.

I've found this quest harder than I thought it'd be. Not that the tasks are hard, but I always seem to be in a race with other people to finish specific aspects of it. doh.gif I'll have to try when less people are logged in.

Things like Hermit tarot really help. Or getting it done before level 10. I found out way too late about how you can get from the top level back to the bottom. Then again, this being my first MUD experience, it's not that much of a surprise. I think experienced MUD players can do it on a first character. It's a fun start for an alt too.

The reset times on this quest probably don't help you either. laugh.gif They're very short in comparison to other quests.

I've heard there is a way to get wax commodities from the UV but no one seems to be able to tell me, any ideas?
Razenth2011-03-17 02:21:20
Dude, just get bookworm bait.
Unknown2011-03-17 08:17:44
That's what I said! But that only gets him 20 and he said he needs like.. 100
Kiradawea2011-03-17 10:50:48
Glucarmi wax you can only get three or so of each hour, and that assumes you find all the loti spores.
Unknown2011-03-18 00:03:56
If you designed something that needs 100 wax all at once, you're SOL.

Close enough.

Does anyone know how to even start the Sarye quest? I know it is horrendously broken and probably impossible to do, but even so...

Also, does anyone know if there's another part to the quest involving Nia and the bookwurms? I've gotten the bait, but what's next?

She should tell you to put it on the bookshelves to draw out the critters. When you kill them, some of them will drop partially destroyed pages of text that you can give to scholars.

Does anyone know how to get the hummingbirds to respond to the pollen in Maeve's Garden? Feel like I've tried everything in the trees and on the ground, but the dang birds won't show themselves! sad.gif

You start it by solving the puzzle in crystal meadows. It's still bork. You can't complete it.
