Maybe the Nihilists could spontaneously decide to revive and then subjugate Marani, and like, defeat her in combat and prove that the Demon Lords of Nil are superior to the original Emanations of Fate and then like, she'd reluctantly give a boost to all Nihilists for a period of time until she manages to throw off their control and then they have to do it again.

Um, why?
I don't think Estarra and co. are planning on making any new conflict quests...
And your idea seems a bit incoherent and not very well thought out...
Razenth2007-06-18 21:14:24
That's why it's a CRAZY idea. Also, not a conflict quest. Only boosts Nihilist, doesn't hurt anyone else.
Also, when the idea burst into my brain, I imagine a Nihilist independently deciding one day to revive Marani and pact with her or something, and then the admin noticing what was happening and playing along. Yah.

Ok, so it's not a conflict quest, it's just a quest that unbalances stuff, in the favor of one guild.
Razenth2007-06-18 22:38:32
Right! Exactly.

Aren't you a Celestine?

Yes.

Yes.
You have very odd ideas for a Celestine.
Unknown2007-06-19 14:07:38
He isn't a Celestine. His character is. That's a friggin' huge difference.
Doesn't make the idea any less incoherent and not fitting lore-wise though. Do you even know what Marani's ideas are? If anything, she'd fit Glomdoring much more than Magnagora.

Cuber, I think you are the bastion of my sanity. Thank you.
Actually, Razenth too. The world needs more people like you two.

Well, if it's some counterquest to raising Marani, I'm totally for it!
Razenth2007-06-19 19:43:12
I know exactly what Marani believes Cuber. My idea wasn't about raising Marani and cuddling her. My idea was about raising Marani and beating the crap out of her until she realizes the superiority of the Demon Lords and lends her considerable talent in cosmic magic to the cause of the Nihilists. READ THE BLOODY POST. Because it's obvious you didn't.

Can Nihilists actually do this or a variant of it now?

No. Raising Marani is now one of the epic quests, though, which results in her plunging into the city and getting eaten by the Necromentate to provide Magnagora with... however much power that step is.

...you know, corpses are really pretty rank after 28 months. It's best to let these lie and find something fresher.
