Well, I am in China, and this is incredibly laggy so I'm going to make it quick. I'm wondering if there is a mud client I can store/run from a flash drive, since most pcs here won't let you install things... I would love to run MUSH off a flash drive, I'm just not sure if it is possible...

This is all coming from my head, but MUSH runs on Linux by installing on Windows and then just copying the files over and using Wine. In theory, this indicates that it doesn't use the registry, which means you should be able to run it from a flash drive.

I'm still new to Linux though, so I don't know exactly what Wine does or if my statement is accurate. Try installing MUSH onto the flash and see if it works.

You sure can run Mushclient on a flash drive. I went to visit my sister and took Lusternia with me by storing Musclient on a flash and it worked fine.

I run ZMud from a USB harddrive, and it isn't even technically installed (main drive got wiped, USB drive didn't). Presumably, it would work the same way for a flash drive.

Yep, Mush works from a flash drive, so does LueaEDIT. All things are now good and right in the world.

Yeah, zMUD will run once installed on a USB flash drive. I used to do that at work, before I got a permanent desk.

As everyone has already said, both MUSHClient and zMUD can run from a flash drive. If you have an especially large system, it can lag pretty badly in big, group fights, but for the most part it's not too bad.
