I got the Sims 2 Seasons expansion, I'm having tons of fun!

This week, my family was screwed. What with my job only working us 40 hours a week, my paychecks have been craptastic. We could either pay the rent, or buy groceries, but not both. And for the next few weeks after this, we were only going to have 25 dollars for groceries and gas per week. Times are hard, but my mother sent me some money "just because she was thinking of me". Not alot, but just enough to pay bills, buy food, and make sure the rent gets paid.

Moms rock. Srsly.

mini-Rant: the few of the book series that I read are finally ending this year. I love series that are long and interesting...

Please tell me it's the Wheel of Time series. That guy needs to climb out of the grave and finish that damned book.

the series is "Pendragon" by D.J. MacHale. It was the first book I read completely too.

Yes, but I can't very well eat a puppy. And it was free anyway. We're so poor, we have to feed it cat food every other day.

Not to be an ass, but you shouldn't have taken the puppy, even if it was free. You knew your financial situation, you knew what the economy is like, you knew you almost got laid off, you knew that puppies like being fed sometimes. One would think that feeding yourself and your family and keeping a roof over your heads would have priority over getting a cute new animal that is only going to eat more and more, not to mention vet bills, and possibly additional pet rent.

Some people have good hearts. Don't be too hard on him. There are people who will help out others, even if it hurts themselves, because they are inherently good people.

New hair. And I did it all by myself! I cut the front from all even lengths (past midback) to frame my face as well as took a bit away from the length. I also dyed it pale ashen blonde from my natural blonde. Granted, the ends are still a bit too dark as I spent over a year as a very dark redhead. I might go for paler silvery blonde at some point as it suits me suprisingly well with my pale skin and whatnot - trying to fix it today before heading out for Vappu/Vappen/Walpurgisnacht/whatever you have on 30.4. or 1.5. in your language.

A bit of rant: Having four euros on my bank account - fiance will be supplying the groceries this weekend. I'll get my first paycheck (huge in poor student terms ) on Tuesday, though.
