Just discovered the joygasm that is Firefox. Everything looks SO much better.

I love Chrome, have you tried that yet?

S-l-o-w sloooow IE is much faster

There is something seriously wrong with your computer. I can run chrome with 4 tabs open, another window, MUSH, BOINC, a text document, and mIRC and it'll still be faster than IE by itself.

I can run chrome with 9 tabs open, another window with 3 tabs, zMUD, a text document, mIRC, MSN, AIM, Spider Solitaire, and Skype and it'll still be faster than IE by itself.

And my zMUD won't lag too, booya!

Chrome works faster than Firefox for me, but I rarely use it because it seems to randomly freeze or seize up on certain websites, and Firefox is just prettier with my current customizations.

I can close Chrome, open IE, open Chrome, and get five tabs open and loaded on Chrome before my GMail homepage loads on IE. It's a shame that so much still isn't compatible with Chrome.

That's what Firefox is useful for.

So, for fun, I ran some browser benchmark tests.

First one is from Google. Definite bias, but it was the easiest for me to find. Higher scores are better. I ran it multiple times, and there was variance, but there was nothing even close to overlap between the three.

Firefox: 82.6
Chrome: 1386

Second one is not from Google. Similar, but much less drastic results. Lower scores are better. I did not run it multiple times, because it runs itself multiple times, and it was painful watching the IE one tick away so very slowly.

So, not only does Chrome test better on my system, the difference is so ridiculously disproportionate that it's almost funny.
