In other news, I finished Ratched and Clank: Tools of Destruction last night. That game is aka "The Blow Sh** Up Game". Yay gratuitous amounts of splode

The secret weapon is a pain in the ass to get and so overpowered it isn't funny, and kinda makes the game boring because the splode isn't even all that shiny.... It's a chaingun nuke launcher.

This is why Fallout 3 lost its shine to me. After you've got a fairly respectable amount of mini-nukes and a Fat Man launcher with more than 50% condition, nothing poses a challenge.

I dunno, mininukes are in short enough supply that I really never end up using them. The combat -really- gets boring when you one-shot everything with a hunting (or laser/plasma ) rifle to the face.

You're thinking small. Experimental MIRV, my good man. Why shoot a single nuke when you can shoot eight?

It gets worse with the DLC. Now we also get the Liberty Prime lazer right at our fingertips. Weeeew tesla cannon.
