I got switched to a different group for the ren faire stuff and the leader of this group is actually helping me get the costumes and helping me save money by buying my own fabric and helping her make them, instead of just telling me what I need and giving me a flat rate. Belly dance costumes are EXPENSIVE.. I was going to be spending over $100 just on the pants and top. Now I'm only spending maybe $30. Yay!

I had a very good visit with my mom and there's someone acting very sweet on me.

Oh likely, but he's doing it in a good way. He wants to take me out, cook for me, doesn't expect me to go down there and visit.

Also, my real life rave: Getting my driver's license today...at the ripe old age of 19.

You have no idea what a big change it is that someone doesn't expect me to live my life around theres.

Also, wouldn't worry too much about the age bit for your drivers. I got mine at 18, still don't have my G2 which lets me drive on my own. Though I do plan to go for it soon.

Depending on where I live for college and work thereafter, I may just bike. I don't enjoy driving, it just seems like an expensive hassle.

I love driving. So relaxing.

Having a drivers licence is still a good thing, as most places don't like taking our Health Cards for I.D. (there'd be a huge hassle if they -ever- lost them or something happened while they held on to them), so having a Drivers just makes sense even if you don't drive. It's also required to have a valid one where you can drive on your own for working along the border or at certain businesses.

Nah, in N.C. you can just go to the DMV and get a Special ID card if you want to. And it's not that I won't have a license, it's that I won't use it. A decent bike = 20000$ less then a decent car, it keeps you healthy too.

My income tax return just came in, about a month earlier than I expected.

I promised myself I'd spend about 10% of it on online games as a gift to myself.

If my student loan ever comes in I should do this... >_> Luckily I don't even need it this semester, and I probably won't be getting it because my dad is being slow with his taxes.. Bleh.

Ohm.. my rave is that my mom is in a good mood today. Yesterday she was talking about doing cartwheels. The aliens came and switched her brain.
