I may have just gotten the luckiest and most awesome MW2 kill ever. Even better was it was the game-winning kill.

Obviously, while final-standed on Wasteland, he chucked a Stun Grenade over the hump, had it hit a post, causing it to rebound back into the bunker, stunning a person long enough for him to launch an RPG through the hole, to the right in a near 90 degree angle, and headshot them EXACTLY as they took off Blast Shield.

Stumbled into Dara O'Briain's standup routines, oh my goodness, he is hilarious.

Oooo, what are you attending Canterbury for?
Also, my rave: Myst Online: Uru Live Again. Free. On its way to Open Source. God I love that company.

I'd be continuing my degree in Geography there for a semester or two.

I just watched a killer whale annihilate a great white shark. Awesome.

If I'm able to get my visa, I will! But I just signed up just for a passport for now, because I'm not even sure that'll go through on time D:
And it looks like my Freedom Day festival or whatever holiday it was called plans cancelled, so we might be able to go get drunk and eat pizza and watch bad movies

If your stay in europe is for less then 90 days in 6 months you, as a US citizen, do not need a visa for the UK nor for any member of the Schengen countries.
If it is more then that and you are leaving within 4 weeks you need to go to the passport office for rush ordering, since visas take at least 3 weeks

One of our youngest colleagues just got accepted into an excellent California medical school yesterday. He was so happy when he got the call. Then he scurried off to finish his homework :3
He's one of the (very) few people I would have confidence in treating my own family down the line.
He just turned 20, but I'll be damned, if you can get in you are a man and deserve a beer. Celebrating today.

Yay pretty opening ceremony for the olympics!
But so sad that an athlete has already died, poor guy.

I really loved the Opening Ceremonies. Having the First Nations welcoming all of the athletes was mindblowing-- I can't imagine our government even asking the Native Americans to participate like that. And the Orcas were amaaaaaaaaaazing as well of course . As was the staff-dude.
