This isn't going to sound like a rave at first, but... my dog got her line off its hook, and I spent several hours trudging through snowstorms trying to find her, to no avail. Exhausted myself, got soaked, chilled, and sore. Finally, by sheer luck I happened to find her trail. I followed it for about 45 minutes, winding over downed trees and hillocks through the deep woods in 2' snowdrifts, until I found where she'd gotten tangled, untangled her, and led her out. Several times her trail came within a few feet of where, if she'd gone another way, I would have lost the track, it would have been impossible to follow, but she always turned just before that, so I was miraculously able to follow the trail.

Winter Is Coming

Winter is slowly easing its hold. No more -25 celcius days, thankyouverymuch.

Yeah, I've been enjoying the nice -2C weather we've been having, if it's sunny it's nice enough to without a coat.

(yes, I know you're on the other side of the ocean but we still get just as cold where I live easy )

Yeah, my uncle lives in Ontario. I expect it to be about similar climate-wise here than it is there, despite the fact that Finland's more north.

I was actually hoping for a winter on the west coast, but east coast of Canada hoarded all the snow. We're having springtime weather now, even reaching temps close to 20 C.

Got a job helping a local IT shop automate their SYSLOG information and help write log parsing scripts and such for them. They said I could use Lua... *GLEE*

On a more serious note, I'm glad you found him.

League of Legends - very much a fun game.

Old monitor died, well, more like, it would never leave power save mode anymore, so, you had to play in a pitch black room to see anything...and even that was hard (why did I make market channel dark red? Meh) So, we finally got off our asses and bought a new monitor. Oh dear lords, why did no one ever tell me 20inches is better than the 12inch one? Widescreen is soooooo awesome.

Also, my bank cd finally rolled over, which means I can actually afford this, and the computer game we bought at the same time, and still have enough to maybeeee fix the car. And They gave me three days at work instead of 1!

And I get to play Deadlands tommorrow, oh happy days!
