Rant: My third team member for the mustang roping contest at the rodeo this weekend decided going off to work on the Husky Power Plant Dam was more important than a 1000.00 per person prize.

Mustang roping is - 1 man ropes, 1 man saddles, 1 man rides... I was to be the rider cause it was my bright idea to enter. (think they really just wanted to see me tossed around by a mustang)

Rave: living at the top of the hill across the river from the rodeo and getting to look out my window and seeing the fireworks BAM in my face.

So, I get hungry and decide to take advantage of Taco Bell's awesome $2 meal deal, and on the way home Celina's bard choke song thingie pops in my head and repeats over and over. The "Cha cha cha choke your face cha cha coke your face" one. My brain made it fit to this random bit of techno music that was playing on the radio at the time and everything. It was both weird and hilarious.

It might work to our advantage off the field too. We've got this campaign to send Tony Hayward down into the gulf with a very small tank of oxygen and a very large load of cement to fix the leak and build himself a little underwater cavern while he's at it. It looks like Britain is willing to go along with the plan now as long as they get to send Robert Green down to help.

Rave 2: In Vermont, virtually everyone routinely goes everywhere with dog treats. Even when we go to drop off trash at the dump, they have one for Socks. The furniture delivery people didn't just bring treats, they brought home-baked treats. Socks has no idea how good she has it.

I just got a thing in the mail telling me that I miscalculated. I don't have two months to pay off my car. This month's payment is my FINAL PAYMENT!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Just a few more hours and I'll be on a plane to Buffalo, NY to get my lovie and bring him home with me! *squee* I can't wait to see him again.
