This could bode quite well if I could find someone to give me a ride. I'd pay for their ticket, too.

So, um, anybody nearby want to give me a ride to a concert? harp.gif

Get sushi grade tuna. Rub one side very lightly with prepared wasabi. Coat in soy sauce, then coat with sesame seeds. Fry for 30 seconds each side in very hot oil. Remove from heat. Touch very lightly with Sriracha. Experience life changing culinary moment, with only two minutes of cooking.

I love wasabi. Might try your recipe with some type of beef over tuna though. No seafood.

Did you watch the two-hour Top 25 Mythbusters Moments episode last night, too? I love Mythbusters. It's one of the few currently-running television shows I actually enjoy. I also like Dirty Jobs, Dog the Bounty Hunter (if I'm in the right mood), and... well, I'm sure there are a few others (Monk springs to mind, but the show ended earlier this year).

For the most part, though, I like documentaries and shows about ancient history, archaeology, astronomy, astrophysics, science in general, future speculation, and similar. I complain a lot about modern TV as far as entertainment shows are concerned, but I must admit that educational television (still mostly for entertainment, but eh) is amazing in the 21st century, and getting better all the time.

I'm especially interested in "Into the Wormhole" hosted by Morgan Freeman on the Science Channel, and caught part of an episode the other night. You can't go wrong with narration by Morgan Freeman.

That's what inspired my spontaneous outburst of wub.gif.

I'm especially interested in that too, but I don't have the Science Channel. Or Animal Planet or NatGeo or G4 or GSN! I need to upgrade.

Ok, so I'm playing my first D&D campaign ever, and our DM is leading us up to an epic battle but hasn't told us what it is. We're in a room for a ceremony with guards all around...

...and my paranoia kicks in, so my cleric casts Detect Undead. What do you know, they all light up? So I look and hey, I'm a Sun Domain, I have access to a Greater Turn Undead. So I do that. The resulting conversation went something like this:

DM: Oh, you little bastard. Fine, roll your charisma check.
Me: ...
DM: ...a natural 20. You've got to be kidding me.

DM: ...Ok, fine. All of the undead dissolve in a shriek of rage. Good job. You win.

Oh yes! That's like all I do when I'm inside. I play Lusternia and watch documentaries. I wanted one on snowflakes and it was like... the best documentary I've ever watched! I should watch it again.

I really enjoy all the 'educational' channels I get with my cable package. Science Channel, History Channel, History International, Biography, Nat Geo, Discovery, Animal Planet and DiY (I consider it educational! tongue.gif )

clap_1.gif Very nice. I had a similar moment, though I rolled three natural 20's in a row and thus killing a demon that my DM spent a month making and planning for.
