Rave: Finally getting time to log in again.

I agree, and normally I don't get frustrated when we wipe. However Sindragosa for some reason is one of the few fights that make me want to reach through the screen and just strangle the bitch. Grobbulus is another fight that makes me go "argh!"

Grobbulus drives me nuts to tank it. I'm trying to walk backwards the whole time and people are still standing in front of him for some stupid reason. I've even faced him at the wall the whole time and just sidled along sideway and people STILL try to cut in front of him.

You have no idea how many times I had to tell my tank "WALK SLOWER!!" when fighting Grobb. My old old group had one of those raid leaders who was also a tank and blamed all of the raid's problems on everyone but himself.

My current raid leader was one of the other healers/DPSers in that group, so he feels my pain. We had fun ranting about how our old raid leader worked us so hard with his flimsy gear and his poor tanking ability.

Rave: I got home from work this morning and my lovey was awake! We watched UP together (omg I've never cried so much at a movie, and it pissed me off so much ) and had breakfast sammiches, then just talked and laughed together before we finally crashed at 10am. It was so great! I'm so glad he moved in with me.

Boyfriend got back today from working in the G20 (he was bored, but couldn't leave ) it was one of those "Hey, I'm done and while I have a million other things to do, including getting my dog back from my parents and I'm seeing you all weekend because I'm kidnapping you from your parents, I'm going to stop by and see you." Made my day.

So what, are WoW raids like big puzzles or something?

Some kind of are. Grobbulus is a bit on the complex side (I can only imagine what it was like with 40 people at level 60! I can't even begin to comprehend getting that many people to follow orders ><), while others are what's called "tank and spank," meaning, "We stand here, do damage, get healed and kill this thing."

lol yea I always wondered what raiding in Vanilla was like. I do have a few friends who played/raided then and were like "it was horrible and I would rather never ever touch it again."

And yea, some are puzzles in a way as you have to figure out a good strategy to kill the boss. An example would be 25 man Kel'thuzad in Naxxramas (wrath edition). You had all kinds of stuff going on. Void zones, mind controls, adds, etc. It was a hectic fight. Others are tank n' spanks and the greatest and most well known of all is Patchwerk of Naxxramas. Tanks runs in, grabs aggro, holds boss still. Dps pew pews their little hearts out while not having to worry about much beyond aggro. The main thing to raids is just people with a group of people that have good raid awareness and are capable of following directions.

My current favourite fights in Icecrown Citadel are Putricide and Dreamwalker. Put is sooooooooooo technical, but filled with so much win, and Dreamwalker is awesome because it's a healer battle. Do want more healer battles yush!

Queen Lana'thel is by far my favorite ICC fight. Ohh yeaa baby bite me. Of course I mean that because I want the 100% damage increase and not because I'm hawt for Lana'thel! >.>

I loved it when the put TOC in. I hate hate HATE slogging through wave after wave after wave of trash to get to the good parts. Downing a boss makes me haaaappy(Plus gets me tokens. Daddy needs his t10). Trash just makes me bored.

Oh, you know what? I was mistaken earlier. There are two movies that made me cry more than UP: Schindler's List and Grave of the Fireflies. I think Grave of the Fireflies wins for most tears. ;-; And I hate crying at movies. It makes me feel like such a wimp, but I'm really sensitive as it is (much to my chagrin ).

Have you seen Toy Story 3 yet?

Yes, but that was more tears of "OMG WTF THIS IS HILARIOUS!" Like when Mr. Potato Head used a tortilla for a body.
