Biked 38 miles yesterday, and feel awesome because of it.

New, non-broken big piece of luggage for $25. wub.gif I had to get rid of one because we finally said, there's no way we can fix the handle. sad.gif But we found a new one, for a nice price. biggrin.gif

There is an open internet connection, and it is... decent.

Geek Squad fixed both my computers for free and in a short amount of time. And the tech used to play Achaea and now he wants to try Lusternia. cheer.gif

So, during vacation, I went to a soccer match and the people there made the best comments:
"Goddamn Swiss, they're like trees"
"Ugh, get that stupid dwarf out of the game"
*after "the dwarf" made a couple of good plays*
"He comes up to your underwear so you won't see him run past you!"

Note: This is a rough translation of the comments the people made and are much funnier in the original language

Pita Pizzas are God's gift to poor students. I love them so.

Friend's 22nd birthday last night. Monday's a crappy day for a birthday and going out, but we did so anyways to celebrate. Was fun. Played pool at one bar, watched some bands at another, all with a few or more drinks. Might have had a bit too much by the end but generally was a good time.

Ahhhhaaa, having a phone number thats been in existence forever is hilarious. I got to hear the rather weird tale of someone who thought they were talking to a person (instead of the machine) about their daughter, and tattoos or something. It was hilarious.

Rave- finding a collection of lost pictures. Some terrible, some hilarious. I went digging due to a rant when I lost connection and was offline for like...two whole hours! That's pants!

Applied for two teaching positions in my field (Art) today. I might not get either (or not be able to take either because of my pregnancy), but I'm hoping to get interviews (always good experience). I applied the same day they were posted on Craigslist, so I have a good chance of them at least looking at my information. Sometimes Craigslist can be a crapshoot, but I at least know these are legitimate jobs. Fingers crossed for interviews!

Went to PT early today, because I have work in the afternoon. The main PT group will be held at 5pm.

My Sgt. had fun planning this. 12 sets of Pull ups, crunches, push ups, and a 50lb weight press. Max/50/10/Max (As many as you can do per set = Max)

Then a 3 1/2 mile run.

Then 10 sets, trying to beat my previous score.

39 pull ups, 280 push ups, 120 presses, 1,440 crunches and the 3 1/2 miles total.

And I gave a nice little idea to my Sgt., to have the other group run 3 1/2 miles out to the pier, and then call him when they get there. When they do, he'll tell them there's a 25-50 weight he needs them to bring back anyway they can, but no outside or vehicle help.

He'll probably change it up, but he'll say this: You have a choice, either do what Jigan suggested you guys do, or do what Jigan did today.

He's going to message me their choice and their reactions.

Let us know too! biggrin.gif

Oh, and to avoid doublepost, my rave is still over my new laptop, which I will probably get in about four hours. Yes, I know. I've been talking about it obsessively for three days. But this is my first 21st-century computer. This one I'm using now was designed around 1999-2000 and built about 2000-2001, so it doesn't count.
