Nice to not have it crash and burn for a change.

This is the best I've felt in weeks.

This happened yesterday, too. But yesterday ended horribly. So, today has to end well! Since I have no school tomorrow.

Oh, and Friday/Saturday we're hiking - doing a 16km trail. Gonna be... awesome, hopefully?

I love Texas in the fall! It's the best two weeks of the year.

Here I was, all worried about people wanting me to run a rpg game. But suddenly, we get a call today, and the normal group of guys who had an rpg today had the gm just quit. (just...stop the campaign, weird like) So they came to the house to play board games, for something to do, right? Fiance casually mentions to them I was interested in running a rpg if they wanted to play, just sort of...casually like, and suddenly, they're making characters for Deathwatch. I really oughta have spoken up sooner! Now, here's to hoping the game goes smoothly.

I'm excited for the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear. With both Stewart and Colbert, it should be a riot (pun not intended)

Just saw "But I'm a Cheerleader" for the first time. Have not laughed this hard in forever. And the romance is just as good as the social commentary is hilarious.

Dresden Files is win. Still need to finish the 11th? book. The one with Morgan showing up.

I can't wait for the next book. Changes was such a cliffhanger.

Yeah, that's a good movie. My local sexual-minority-youth support group showed it a while ago.

I just finished it a couple of days ago. A hearty "wow" on all accounts.

No libraries? I can't remember the last time I've bought a book, outside of textbooks. Between libraries for stories, and the internet for knowledge, it seems to me like books are giant waste of money these days, especially if money is tight.

Libraries? Hah! All of the ones on this side of the county aside from the central library down in charlotte have shut down I'm afraid...no funding.

Seconding the "wow" on the end of Changes (albeit way back in April.)
