I'm. Finally. Home.

17 km hike over two days with about 45lbs of gear on my back. I'd do it again in a heartbeat, but maybe not until next weekend. We hiked to the highest point in my area. It was a pretty amazing experience.

Though if I stop moving for too long my legs cramp up and then I can't move at all. sad.gif

Libraries? Hah! All of the ones on this side of the county aside from the central library down in charlotte have shut down I'm afraid...no funding.

Thats a shame. I don't read a lot, but when I do, it was nice being able to walk to an excellent library a mile away. I've since moved, but I still have one 3-4 miles away that I've never been to, and the one I used to go to is about 7 miles away.

A rave from me, went shopping today, got a lamp for my office so now I can use it in the evening, towels for my second bathroom, and carpets for both bathrooms, and everything looks great wub.gif Also got curtains for the living room, but those had to be ordered. Its starting to look like a home around here happy.gif

Mommy is out of hospital and doing fine. smile.gif Extra hour due to clocks going back meant I could read Stephen Fry's latest autobiography until 4am and finish it, without guilt. Got some painting done so I should finally be able to move back into my livingroom this week. Living room now has a brand new 32" LED tv, new stereo amp and media player. Listening to musik while drinking G&T. biggrin.gif

laugh.gif Awesome! The next time I feel guilty for staying up late to finish an awesome book, I'm going to set my clock(s) back to a decent sleeping time to make myself feel better. happy.gif

Why did I watch Paranormal Activity? Alone? On Halloween? In the dark? I don't know if this is a rave. Now I need to watch Bolt or something so I can sleep. laugh.gif

I suggest Ghostbusters.

My favorite part of The Secret of Kells was the art style. I'm sad to say that if it wasn't for the gorgeous animation I probably would have stopped watching it about halfway through. suspicious.gif

Fun fact! One of the goals with the art in The Secret of Kells was to see just how flat they could get it. I think they did a pretty good job!

Well I figured that was kind of the whole point. I guess you can't win an Oscar just for being beautiful.

I swear I thought 'Hey, it's Phoebus!' when Brendan first ran through after that goose. laugh.gif

Iamverytired.

Just watched that on Friday, I enjoyed it... also for the art... and the music. Also watched "My Name is Bruce". Which I enjoyed... for Bruce Campbell.

As for Dar, you should watch this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHGFR2o3Ja4 - Best of the Rifftrax for Paranormal Activity.

I might be able to graduate while I'm here, I can possibly do an online course through "distance education" and still graduate with everyone else (though I might not be in Canada to do the ceremony).

They're going to be dealing with the bugs, if Housekeeping can't deal with them, then they're calling in pest control.

Boyfriend arrives on the 11th. wub.gif

Apparently, talking with real life people several times a week is keeping me saner. Or so says everyone around me. They make me nervous! But they're nice people. So they can keep coming to the house, and making me less neurotic, and internet prone.

I have received an invitation via Facebook to something described only as "Jewish Thanksgiving". laugh.gif Do I dare confirm my attendance to this mystery event?

Cracking in to my copy of the Towers of Midnight to settle in for another wonderful read while I blatantly ignore everything going on in game. smile.gif

Nah, just when Aleria started working her trap on CT, I looked down at the book in my lap.
