Someday I will learn not to do assignments the day before they are due. Someday.

I'm half way through grad school and I still haven't. I left 3 big projects to about a week before they were due. I'm done about 1.5 so far, I have a java program and a research paper/presentation to go to be done by monday (yes, two projects for the same class due on the same day). You can bet money I'll be doing most of them sunday.

Happy birthday to me. As far as days go, it's actually going to be pretty sucky, but tomorrow will be better and I have Monday off, so I'll pretend my birthday's actually Monday.

I found a diamond at work, I think? It's pretty small. Issue is, I have to cope with my morality to find the owner rather than just sell it. I cant tell if it's real or not.

Ok, so I'm running a Deathwatch rpg campaign on Mondays. I had wanted to run Rogue Trader, but they wanted to be Space Marines. That's ok, I can run that too! So we play for a couple of weeks, getting more and more annoyed at the system, the poor design stuff, etc. So, I was running the first adventure from Into the Storm. The corrupted servitors attack, eh? Which they must investigate now! And figure out who dares attack them...they're suspicious of everyone...well, I was having to make stuff up at this point, eh? Not much of anything to go off of, heh.

They go outside for a smoke break. They come back inside, and say, yeah, this system sucks, the adventures are cool, but we'd rather play Rogue Trader, the system is a lot better. Okie...uhm...now? Yup. Making characters now.

Should I be happy we're playing the system I wanted to run to start with, or annoyed at the game for sucking so much? O_o

I think you should just ignore all the sucky parts of the system and run it on FOR THE EMPEROR!!!

I tried that once, the more passionate and into it you were the more effective everything was.

I didn't mind running it. It was actually the guy who loves the world, and stuff like that, who just kept getting annoyed at the system. Ie - Bolt weapons were over powered as compared to everything else (being the largest example), and other stuff. I didn't mind either way, I get to have huggable orcs (orks?) in either system.

Rave. Was having a nice dream IRL then Eventru and Lilian ruined it by blasting a horn at me, me going wtf at what they are doing in there, finding myself in a weird lol game, waking up to find that it's 1:44 am and I still didn't finish my work.

Got a call yesterday from mum asking me to make some cinnamon rolls with her today. Okie...usually, this is an excuse for, come over, I'll feed you, and the cinnamon rolls would usually be, canned cinnamon rolls.

I get over there, and...here is recipe. Uhm, ok? I've never made cinnamon rolls. I'm a good baker, but I'm nervous! And wow, they take a long time! But, ok, start the dough, get it to rise. Eat dinner. Punch dough. Punch punch punch. Cover the dough with the sugary innards and some nuts (walnuts? I think it's all we had). Rise again. Bake. Have step-brother ask what smells divine. Tell him cinnamon rolls. Cinnamon rolls come out. Hrm...they do look awesome. But more sugar syrup stuff on top. Done. Nervous, do they taste good? Can't eat them, too full from dinner. Step brother grabs one. Makes disturbing nom noises. Apparently, they're awesome.
