I downloaded Suikoden from the PlayStation Store recently. Kuromimi is possibly the cutest game character ever. Inevitably my main party will be mostly furries.

Eric Whitacre's Virtual Choir 2.0 is out! Kinda bummed that I didn't think to submit a video myself, but even so, the result is stunningly beautiful.

I have to say...thank you for posting that. It was wonderful to listen to and I don't think I would've ever known about it if you hadn't!

Bolt was adorable, and I enjoyed it greatly. Of course, it's really hard for me to not enjoy a movie full of cute, wisecracking animals. (Even if the writers did seem a bit prejudiced against cats.)

You can go HERE to read about how the idea for the virtual choir came about--how one young girl's nervous video inspired the dream of the first virtual choir, and how it's grown since then. It's a really awesome project. As far as I can tell, no video was rejected unless it had some sort of technical flaw that made it impossible to use, so if he chooses to do another one of these, I hope to send in a video as well. Just another way that music can literally unite people from all over the globe.

One good thing about living with my family: if they buy games, I have access to it too. My sister bought Dragon Age 2, so I've been playing it. It's fun! I'm a mage . Chain lightning pew pew pew!!

I wants to play Dragon Age 2. *makes grabby hands* Oh well gotta wait til after April. Brother and his wedding take precedent over me and my video games.

I think I have a problem. I utterly refuse to use non-electric staves in DA2. I upgrade everything with electricity damage. It's not my fault electricity is the coolest element in the history of ever! And I keep spirit damage staves on Anders just because I think the effect looks cool.

You know, I really cause far more difficulty for myself than I need to in games because I focus more on thematic things than the most practical choice. But...this is a rave, because I do like it, really. It makes it more fun.

I am the same way. I decide, "this is how I want the character to be" and stick with it.

Gah I really want Dragon Age 2 now as well. I have a bad habit of reading spoilers for games b/c I rarely buy them, but this one seems really good. (totally doesn't have anything to do with the fact you can sleep around with your party members)

PS Is Dragon Age Origins the first game in the series? For some reason the lore is so interesting; has some parallel to RL politics.

Yes, Origins is the first one. Awakening is its expac. I love Bioware's games, and Dragon Age was really good. However Awakening wasn't...really all that great imo. However, you don't -have- to have played the first one as the 2nd one really doesn't "pick up" after Origins. If you want to, you can go ahead and play the 2nd one but there are probably going to be a few references you don't get of course.
