Spent a couple hours enjoying gorgeous earthquake weather on a hammock, watching clouds and my silly dogs, with a cat on my lap and listening to This American Life and not even caring about sentence structure.

That sounds truly lovely. The earthquake scared the hell out of me, we so rarely feel them!

Being woken up by earthquake gave me enough energy to go out and take a walk. I walked for an hour, and then once I got home my body did the asthmatic equivalent of WHAT DID YOU DOOOOOOOO. And my legs itch like hell, as is always the case when I decide to walk.

But it's a nice day outside and it feels good to do something.

Nope, I'm in Central Virginia. I was actually just pulling into my driveway as the quake hit, apparently, but since it's gravel and we've got some bumps and dips, I didn't feel a thing! Waiting for the aftershocks, though.

But to answer your question, it was apparently felt from NYC to the Carolinas.

Was the first time I've ever felt an earthquake, I didn't notice the Ontario-Quebec one last summer. Thought maybe someone had messed up the medication I'm on with something more fun.

We felt it in New Brunswick, Canada. All the way up the east coast, guys. I personally didn't as I was at work and not directly where it was felt most, but I know some of downtown was evacuated and there were emergency vehicles all over the place.
