So THIS is what it's like to be OP.

I'm getting a new guitar for my birthday. (Like I didn't have enough already...)

Getting to spar against the Canadian Gumdo Master. Sweet learning experience.

Haidong gumdo, it's a Korean sword martial art developed for use on the battlefield. Sparring isn't really a part of haidong gumdo, as the idea behind the forms is one vs. many, but sparring occasionally helps to transfer form-work to actual fights.

I don't have a martial art other then fencing really, I just do improv work. Most of the time it works out pretty well for me. (Yes, I do have a group of people that I spar with.)

As part of my birthday present, my parents are buying me plane tickets to visit my boyfriend when our schedules allow me to visit him. That's so awesome!

I'm going to Chicago for my birthday with my boyfriend, a couple friends and the rest of the history society.

Woo, took like 10 hours but I got Umineko no Naku Koro Ni working (mostly)! And the writing is more mature than I expected. Bonus.
