He wasn't saying use it yourself, he was saying look at it. And didn't Fazlee patch up Whyte's and use it himself?

EDIT: And from what I can remember, Whyte's data file was really logical.

It may have been logical if you knew what HE was thinking when he made it....and Fazlee did patch it up and use it himself....but that for the Idras guild. And if I remember, he didn't like sharing it with too many people.
Esano2008-09-14 07:37:19
No, Whyte's file was logical, I just redownloaded it to check. You could get your affliction lines from it easily enough. (It's down below for anyone curious)

But we're derailing. Back on topic, or make a new thread!

This file is not Lusternian affliction lines, for anyone reading the thread later. I will take it down in a few days, if I remember.

Ok, well, I didn't use it.... I used the other one. In anycase... I agree... back on topic.

Thank you for the list. It will help greatly for the adaptation.

Also, this list should be missing the Nekotai, Ninjakari, and stealth lines. I think so, at least.

Is there an updated trigger list anywhere?

What is meant by "spamming"? As in:

"suffering from amnesia" - AMNESIA - Cure(Spamming)

Type LOOK 20 times. Or WHO HERE. Or any command.

(Though it's more like 2-3)

Amnesia doesn't affect your last command entry. The best trigger for amnesia is !.

If this were the case, you should be BUGging it, but I just checked the code to confirm that amnesia would still affect it.

Some things I noticed that aren't in the list yet.

Axelord
Cleaving through your defenses, Melville makes a slow deadly strike at your left leg with a golden webbed klangaxe. The stab to your left thigh leaves a gaping hole.

Shofangi
Havulma spins his shofa in each hand, crisscrossing them back and forth in elaborate patterns just before slashing them into your left leg.

Havulma spins his shofa in each hand, crisscrossing them back and forth in elaborate patterns just before slashing them into your chest.

Your skin is scraped by the shofa, raising angry red welts on the skin.
Takes away your salve balance.

The list has: The shofa hooks your leg, sending you tumbling.
I also saw: The shofa hooks your left leg, sending you tumbling.
...where which leg is specified.

Havulma wildly twists and turns, kicking his legs out behind him. One thunderous kick slams into your right leg, which flails about limply as the bones are crushed to powder.
mangled leg

Havulma slices a moonblade inlaid with a silvery triple moon design cleanly through the air in front of you. You blink several times as it appears that he missed you, but then pain blossoms in a line across your neck as blood gushes out of a long, razor-thin cut.
slit throat

These were all pre-momentum. The post momentum lines were posted elsewhere on this board by Shuyin. Except the Axelord one, that's just getting hit with an axe.

I'm not familiar with monks so I'm not sure what pre-momentum and post-momentum mean. But these Shofangi attacks all happened to me two days ago, so they are still relevant.

Basically, monks underwent a revamp a while back, so when this list was formed, none of those lines existed. Sojiro/Shuyin has a list of all the lines that came about after the revamp.

Ah I got it now. When you said "these" you mean Forren's list, not the lines I posted. Thanks for the explanation.

Is this list dead? Should we be posting new trigger lines here?

Ah crap.
Acrune2009-03-29 04:14:15
Wasn't sure I still had this sitting around on my computer, but lucky for you guys I do tongue.gif

If a mod would put a link to this post in the initial post on the thread, that might be good.

Enjoy smile.gif

Here's the trigger list, since so many of you have been requesting it. It's not yet complete, but I'm getting there. Ignore ********** and my comments. Some of the secondary messages have things like WTF??? and ???? next to them - if you can confirm what they are from an actual log, please send them to me.

If you see anything inaccurate or something missing, please let me know.

If you find this helpful, a small credit donation would be appreciated. It took a lot of work to gather these.

Look up three posts. Acrune has links to the list.
