Correct: the aetherways portal is southwest, south, southeast of where it is currently marked.

There's also a new room on Cankermore (if it's still there?), part of the Earth Day event.

And a new village just off Snow Valley with a sneeze for a name (Rikenfriez).

Aside from the fact it is an easy place to store it, it also gives me a count on the number of people who have accessed it. Which makes me feel good The image is approaching 500K though, after that I will have to seek an alternate hosting location. Maybe the Wiki?

It's in a room three scales up in the Razines. And there are also new rooms on most/all of the aetherbubbles (but especially Frosticia), not that this is an extremely vital thing.
