Depending on good the person is, I often let them TM for free (though I ask to go over the designs before submission to ensure quality). If they are exceptionally good, I will pay them X gold per private design (Amarysse gets 2.5k, Neptysia might of gotten 500 if she accepted the job. Dinoniel is pretty awesome, and he does it for free )
