Latest engagement; Ishant.
Reiha and Ishant didn't really know each other, apart from exchanging polite nods and doffs at the aetherplex. She mistook Ishant for being a girl several times, but that was the extent of their conversations - a few jokes to rile him up. Being the annoying person she is, Reiha often sent him candy like she did for anybody else in the basin. One day, upon hearing he smiled when Mischief delivered a candy to one of her friends, she took a more serious interest in talking to him. To her, this meant he had actually appreciated the gifts many others did not care about.
Despite the serious interest, she started off with a terrible ice-breaker. And despite the terrible ice-breaker, Ishant did not run away in disgust when she teleported to him out of the blue. Somehow they got on the subject of their comatose fiancés, and how nice it would be to have someone around who was there for them. At this point Reiha began to fall for Ishant, though many years... decades... her junior, he acted with a clam collectiveness and kindness that she found very charming.
They began to see each other and the affair was broken off when she scried him in a manse with one of her friends. That in itself was not such a big deal, except for the fact Reiha had told her friend, who was also looking for a husband, that Ishant might be a good candidate. When asked why only "might be", Reiha urged her friend to find out for herself.
Suffice to say, Ishant failed the test.
After that, they did not speak to each other much. She tried to not think about the brief affair and sincerely (if not bitterly) wished her friend luck. However, the time soon came when Reiha could not stand being in Celest any longer and needed three sponsors. One of them was Ishant, who welcomed her warmly into the commune. At first she was reluctant to ask him, but also wanted an excuse to talk to him again. After all, it was about ambassadorial issues, not romantic ones, so no shame at all in contacting him to talk.
Eventually and predictably it led to them discussing the status of their relationship and their feelings for each other. She was still wary of him and his intentions, but after Nedas pulling some matchmaking strings, Ishant reassuring her he only wanted to be with one woman, and the friend telling Reiha how Ishant would get all quiet when Reiha was around, she decided to take a risk and they took each other back.
Then they fought over (a lack of) attention, his guild, etc., and to shut her up, he proposed with his crown; it was not just any crown, but the crown he wears as King.
And she accepted.
Also, Reiha is deathly afraid of making Ishant divorcee (yes, divorcee) number six, because of Astraea.
P.S. I just realized it wasn't weird or funny, but I felt like sharing in case. I mean, 5 divorces... *jinx*

Richter was first enamoured with Alyssandra when he was in the Serenguard, in the beginning of the game. Eventually was involved with Nepthysia (briefly), then was engaged to.... I want to say Yukari and Arylion? Eventually decided I didn't want to put time into a fake relationship, so I had one of the "A-list" players marry me on an alt, and she's only logged in to talk to me a few times. Real relationships are hard enough.
