This is really my first time every playing a MUD game, but right from the get-go, I LOVED the interface of Nexus... but didn't like the scripting capabilities. I know that Nexus runs off Java, which is inherently slow, but the simple lack of programming ability I could do with it was just BAD.
I tried out MUSH for a while, but didn't like the metric crap ton of features and check boxes that awaited me. Not gonna lie, one of the turn-offs of going from Nexus to MUSH is going from a few features to a TON of features!
And then I stumbled upon Mudlet.
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Simple design, powerful scripting abilities (I DO plan sometime on making an advanced curing script for Mudlet, as soon as I learn the interface). It's quite easy to set up and get started as well! However, I do have a few problems with it.
From a total novice POV, just making simple alias and trigger can seem a little intimidating. Maybe simplifying it down a bit so you can easily make something, and not have to worry about if you scripted something wrong. Taking a page out of Nexus' simplification book would be a really good thing, at least IMHO. While it's good to have a lot of awesome features, having to watch a video on how to use them kinda defeats the purpose. Make it easy to use and understand, I suppose... Sorry for not being specific. Along with learning a new client, I'm learning a new game, so it all can be a bit overwhelming!

Are you willing to share your system for free or pay?

As a believer of the Hacker mentality, everything that I shall make will be free to the public, and open for contribution/fixes from the public as well!
