WHEN/IF (though probably never) Gaudigauch/Hallifax/Ackleberry were ever restored, who would teach them monk skills? Would Tosha side with Ackleberry while Grandmother Scorpion might sympathize with the Lucidians and Dracnari? just speculating now...
Are there any other speculation threads on the topic of Gaudigauch/Hallifax/Ackleberry monks?
PS-- anyone know what the Crystal Spire looked like?

Somaria, Callia, Casilu: The monk guild hoppers. Each have learned three kata styles, and two have been in two leadership positions. I'm more than willing to teach whoever.

Dunno. Are you capable of teaching the Gaudigauch Dracnari a form of drunken boxing?
Diamondais2009-06-25 00:28:49
To be honest, if you've attacked the Dracnari in the Desert and Zoaka, they kinda fight like monks. They might've known some form.

Casilu used to be an alcoholic, but I'm teaching Ackleberry the twin hooks.

Why can't asshats who like to raid be around to defend?

As you attempt to operate the command chair, it sputters and gyrates without
producing a noticeable result.
Temporis stops sailing to the west.
What is this? How do I stop it?

It means that your command chair is damaged. You can fix it with an empath grid, or dock it and wait for the damage to regenerate.

Hopefully this simple question hasn't been asked before. But here goes...
What prevents residents in the Basin of Life from just, you know, walking outside of the Basin? Climbing over the mountains that surround it and just keep walking, that sort of thing. And no, "it hasn't been coded yet" isn't an acceptable answer. I was hoping for an in-game explanation.

The mountains are virtually impassable! Not entirely, because, over the years, various people denizens have survived the trip - but to all intents and purposes too inhospitable to traverse.

But we the portal-touched are badass beyond reason! Rawr!
On a more topical note, is there yet a compiled list of what Beast Cure Body/Spirit/Mind actually do and don't do? If the coder-types would like to release a list, I would not complain at all, no sir.

I'm sure alot of our powers would just fail to work outside of the basin. I can't imagine natural powers working in an entirely inhospitable place, and possible distance and inaccessibility of nexus power would probably make you alot weaker too! I just in general mean we're probably not quite so fearsome outside of the basin.

does customization of a beast allow you to change it's gender?

Yes.

There is actually a room on the mountain range that is on the OTHER side of the mountains... it just says something about the fall being deadly. Technically, anyone with a no-wind artifact and some form of wings could just glide right on down without an issue.
