From HELP DOMOTH BLESSINGS:

Domotheos of Death
o Minor: Bless a race with an increase in endurance and endurance
regeneration.
o Lesser: Bless a guild to give an aura of vengeance that will attack
those who kill its members. (Guild members who kill their own will not
trigger this effect.)
o Major: Bless a city/commune to summon forth a permanent Catacombs of the
Dead at the nexus of power until the Major Blessing is lost.

You get it by someone holding the Death domoth calling down a blessing on your race, guild or city. Malicia holds the Death domoth at the moment.

Thanks!

For the 10 people who have just rehashed the 1 size = 6 inches... you are all missing the point entirely. Which would be Eventru's post.

And yet, Estarra herself has posted that (in general) 1 size == 6 inches.

So, in general, that's the rule; with some exceptions as per the help files of certain races (where they state that they are slimmer and taller, or shorter and stouter, in which case you would have to make some minor adjustments). Even then, though, I'd say you take the general mass afforded to the 1 point of size == 6 inches thing, and then stretch it out to make it a bit taller (at which point you realize that realistically you can't stretch it too much or your trill-thingy will have no body at all), or squash it down and watch it lump out (hi dwarf).

Anyone know of any good-sized harvestable hills? Only thought of the ones near Glom and Seren so far...

Also, can you fill from keg to keg? I.e. if you have one with 35 fills in it and one with 20, can you combine them to 55? What if you had one with 50 and one with 75, can you fill so one is at 100 and one is at 25?

These two, and snow valley. There are also some rooms by Verasavir (I think? The area with the horde/centaurs, at any rate.)

Yes to both, you pour # into # and it will combine them without losing any, stopping at 100 and leaving the remainder.

Hifarae. Verasavir is a valley, Hifarae is a mix of hills and valleys.

Why did Serenwilde decide to raise Iasmos as a vernal ascendant after Estarra explicitly said they would be limited in number? Did she change or mind or did the players just not care and decide to go ahead and do it anyways? It'd be rather tragic (and maybe just a touch hilarious) if he were stripped a month later.

Absolutely no idea. Unless Sarrasri is willing to strip herself, Lehki and Iasmos get to fight over it. At this rate it's basically an essence reset for him.

Well I hope you guys know what you're doing. I sure don't. tongue.gif

If an item is customized, does it lose it's maker's mark? Do you have the option of removing it? Do you have the option of retaining it?

We weren't going to stop the process when we were already almost through debating and deciding. We'll just deal with the changes when they're made.

When they do go in, I think we could manage keeping three ascendants with some power farming effort.
Unknown2010-04-08 06:28:05
We'll manage. Iasmos is thoroughly pleased and greatly honored, but if he proves to be more of a burden than a blessing, he will make the sacrifice knowing that he was worthy.

Might not be that bad actually, raise the last few that you can for cheap and then toss them all down so you have demipluses running around once the changes go through.

That was not the intention in the slightest. Iasmos was pretty much a sure thing from the start, and wasn't going to take it away from halfway through when Estarra made the post. =/

It changes to your mark instead.

It's a little like knowing there is a hurricane forecast within the next 3 months but you decide to build your house in the tsunami zone anyways. I was mostly curious but there is value in having a VA in the meantime. And who knows, if you're lucky the hurricane might never come! Sometimes you don't even need a good reason; I build snowmen in the winter knowing full well that they are going to eventually melt but it's fun all the same.

Not really anything personal, just these people saying "zomg why would you do that?" aren't considering it fully. It makes things more difficult on the decision makers later but still, slight benefit there. Iasmos might keep ascendant and you or any other seren ascendant could lose it because of this, but either way the benefit of another ex-ascendant. confused.gif

If I was in Serenwilde I wouldn't care if they continued as long as everyone understood the consequences

That example only works if you have insurance on the house and move into one that's still nicer than your current old house after the new one is destroyed.

Any ascendants raised right now, even if they keep it or not will be more than a demigod if they loose it. Organisations that do this knowing they will descend people will get these benefits for 500,000 power rather than the larger amounts required once it goes through.

EDIT: I'm not saying everyone should try to ascend as many people as possible. But it's just not as big a deal as people seem to think

What's the cost in lessons to switch from one knighthood specialization to another?

And my searches haven't answered this question-- has anyone figured out the formula for how much damage you gain for each damage point on a weapon, plus strength?

20% of the lessons from Master to Transcendent?
