Then I was wrong about keeping trade skill items. That, I concede.
I do not concede using the stockrooms to then retain these items for long periods of time and circumvent decay. I am quite sure that was unintended. I have a feeling this is let slide for all sorts of items people store, but that it can be used on trade skill items is going too far with it, in my opinion.
Ergo, I would like to see them disallowed from being placed in a stockroom (not really a request, just, I wouldn't be nearly as upset about it), although if the new Skillflex system allows people to just get all of them anyway, it's a moot point.

It actually used to be all items. They changed it so that some items are not affected by stockrooms (items that are limited and not generally going to be sold, such as crow cloaks, people's heads, etc). It's quite possible that trans trade items were just overlooked, and that's why I also said I wouldn't mind seeing that changed.
There really wouldn't be much outcry against changing them to decay in stockrooms I think, especially now.

Ok, here's another question. Should people who get splendours and drop tailoring be able to store their robes in a cabinet, thus negating decay? What about masterplate and putting it into a rack?
Considering the only difference between plate and masterplate is 10 in stats (5% reduction in damage, correct me if I'm wrong on that please) and non-decay, I don't see that as that much of a buff over plate.

Oh, ok, so this is purely an aesthetic thing on your part, and your indignant rage against your cruel oppressors is just an exercise in making your feelings known? K.
I have not named anyone as an oppressor (neither player nor admin), only said it was an unfortunate state of affairs that troubles me.
I am not enraged, only disappointed for the reasons that I stated. "Outrageous" is not meant to indicate personal rage.
Your hyperbole and continuous string of insults don't lend you much credibility, in my mind.

Things that are not affected by stockroom decay protection are also not protected by anything else that limits or slows decay, from my experience.

Well, making them decay even in a stockroom is a perfectly reasonable request honestly. Especially now.
Sior and I were just talking about that actually. Estarra's call though.
Let's change the topic. My simple question? Where is the love. Woah woah woah, where is the love.
(Note: If you feel there's a problem (arguably there may or may not be), please feel free to make an ideas thread on the topic and I'll happily hit people who attack the thread angrily with a hammer - my favourite kind of one.)

Is it a piyo-piyo hammer?

I'm all about the love now in this thread... I think what needed to be said has been, by all parties.
I love Eventru (not IG, sorry) for weathering this thread explosion with a cool head. I knew I'd cause a stir by pressing my criticism but, Jumpin' Jehosophat, that uproar was unexpected. Sorry!

Well, keep in mind that some people did pay RL money for these things (while you might say that they spent 150 credits for the skillset which they immediately forgot, that's really not that case).
If I was to, say, spend 273 credits learning bookbinding for the Magic Tome (for no other reason than for the magic tome), I have spent those credits for that specific item, period, if I immediately drop it after making that tome. I didn't do anything else with the skillset, the entire point of the expenditure was to buy an "artifact" (that doesn't even reset to me, and decays).
So, that would be why there's some uproar, heh. The decay side of things is perfectly reasonable, but having more than one trans trade item has been in the game design / philosophy since pretty much for-ever, so everyone's spent money with that in mind...

Judging by the various quotes, in the Cantors. Although there seems to be a lot of the kinky kind of love there

I never counted, but I have been guessing that if you kill all the ones in Ethereal, you get more in the Bubble. Probably not the answer you were looking for ...

What makes you think this? They might share a name, but that's where the similarity between bubble Daughters and EtherGlom Daughers ends. They aren't from the same template.

Because I was told once that when we call the Ladies to EtherWilde they come from the Moon bubble to Ethereal to do a tour of duty as guardians. That person could well have been mistaken...

That's the conceptual basis, but that doesn't mean that they're coded as the same objects, or that there's necessarily the same number of them (that would be neat, but in the same way that it'd be neat if the number of cave-fishers, or their prey, you killed influenced how many there were next time).
