Why don't you test it out and let us know, Llandros? It doesn't seem like a difficult experiment to conduct.
Llandros2009-01-08 18:45:21
Because I'm at work and can't right now.
Unknown2009-01-08 20:09:38
AFAIK, you get more for killing one that's empowered and less for one that's weakened simply because they adjust the level of the mob and that directly impacts experience gain/loss.
Rika2009-01-08 20:12:46
Correct.
Unknown2009-01-08 20:13:22
I tested this before out of curiosity: empowered mobs give a bit more exp and weakened mobs give a bit less. The boost from empowerment is also slightly less than the cut from weakening.

For influencing, is it better to keep alternating between the different attacks, or stick with one for a bit, then change?
Like, is it better to use Compliments then Admiration then Compliments ad infinitum, or Compliments a couple times then Admiration a couple times?

It is most efficient to use all of them equal numbers of times. The order in doing so does not matter. NPC's develop stubbornness against each individual attack type independently of all others.

What tradeskill makes suporu, mindoru and bodoru?
Esano2009-01-09 06:00:56
Alchemists.

Ah, precisely what I needed. Thank you.

Would desiging a Warcraft style cloak be OOC? Not a specific cloak per-se, but one in the general appearance of a Wardens Cloak, IE Broad imposing shoulderpads that pull up into a tight collar, with the cloak it's self almost hanging down from inside the pauldrons.

There's nothing OOC about a feasible design that does not make overt reference to something that doesn't exist in Lusternia. Calling it a Wardens cloak is probably OOC. A cloak with stiff epaulettes would not be.

Well naturally I wouldn't call it a Wardens cloak, that's even worse then OOC, that's Copywrite infringment if it gets passed.
If I Changeling to Illithoid, am I soulless? If I changeling back to normal, am I reinsouled?
Krackenor2009-01-11 05:37:25
Good question, however irrelevant.
Kiradawea2009-01-11 11:57:41
Yes. No don't ask me how that works. The fates do whatever they please.

No, because you have displeased the Forging gods.
(That, and the admin just don't like you.

But a changeling works entirely dependently of the fates, there's no reincarnation involved, just a little shapeshifting.
