I think you need to use the rune number rather than "shield rune" or "rune" or something like that. I had a similar problem with my weapon runes.

I think so, because of the decay rate on those.
Customization doesn't give nondecay, so your 50 credit toy would decay in about a year IC.

There are a lot of sword designs that don't actually look like the sword they're supposed to resemble. You'd still have to call it a scimitar, but the charites won't care if you detail the design to make it look exactly like a sabre. Such minutiae is beyond Lusternian forging - weapons are defined by their stats more so than how they look or are shaped.

I don't neccecarialy(Never been able to spell this. Ever. This word is my bane) make designs because I want them to be used, I just want people to see it and be able to say "I made that!" and grin at them. Artists make art. I make pretty descriptions, and the occasional poem.
