What colour is ravenwood? Brown, black, purple, or what?
Unknown2009-02-09 04:18:51
Dark. LIEK MY SOUL

purplish black
Aramel2009-02-09 04:21:30
Oh, okay. I'd hoped it would be brown. Damn you, symbolism.
Unknown2009-02-09 04:24:01
Always looked kinda black\\green in the Masterravenwood art.
Unknown2009-02-09 04:27:04
Wait, do you mean the actual tree, or ravenwood, like the commodity?
Xiel2009-02-09 04:29:00
I think she means the actual, probed description of the Ravenwood.
Unknown2009-02-09 04:29:57
There is ravenwood, and then there is Ravenwood.
Unknown2009-02-09 04:30:47
Twisted and veined with entrancing dark swirls and knotted patterns, this
gargantuan tree stands above all else within the Glomdoring as though trying to
devour the very sky with its sharp crown. Feathery fronds hang down menacingly
from the dark branches, the shiny black leaves clacking together in the wind
like bone chimes and gleaming with a deep mauve iridescence. Long and grasping
roots extend outwards for quite some distance from the tree, clawing into the
dark soil.
Xavius2009-02-09 05:05:03
Ravenwood lumber is only described as "dark." While the leaves are clearly black, I think the trunk is brown.
Aramel2009-02-09 05:18:17
Ooh, thanks. (I meant the commodity, btw.)
Razenth2009-02-09 07:02:42
Can any tradeskill make glasses?
Unknown2009-02-09 07:05:19
If by glasses you mean glass cups, Arts can do it. If by glasses you mean spectacles, I don't think so.
Lendren2009-02-09 13:57:45
The only objects in game that are spectacles are artifacts. Lendren got his jeweler mother to make him spectacles so I'd have a reason to add them to his description, and later got artifacts (customized) with the in-game explanation that he just got Trader Bob to enchant the spectacles he already had.

hrm this is to do with the forum...

is there actually a swear censor? Because 3 or 4 times ive said a particular (and common) word which seems to show up...

obviously im not using that word now but its made me curious heh
Vionne2009-02-10 00:10:46
No. The censor.gif emoticon smiley you have to put in for yourself.

: censor :

This question is kind of meant for the Admin but if players know that's great too!

I was just wondering if the Bardics we submit through the website are considered IC?

This way if I bring it up IC I know Lekius won't get (more) weird stares than he's accustomed too.

Thanks in advance!
Gwylifar2009-02-10 03:21:47
I always thought they didn't have to be, and two of my three bardics were not written by Gwylifar; but other people have quoted HELP BARDIC suggesting that they are supposed to be IC.

What's the better investment? Level 2 stat runes or level 2 wounding, for speed wounders? Or perhaps level 2 stat runes for damage weapons?
