A PM response from Jigan that I found amusing:
QUOTE
Maybe someone should start a new thread in Idiots which lists every argument against both Mag and Celest raids, and the various defenses for it. And then number them so people can just go "1. 6. 2. 3. 1. 9." and save a lot of posting.

Desi, you're a Limecat. Cats pee on things. It's what they do. I fail to see how you peeing on people will be suprising.

Rhymer with the Lyre, Sadhyra d'Illici, Rising Resonance mumbles to herself, jerking the controls back and forth. Beneath her breath, she whispers "Pew pew" noises, while squinting both eyes, twisting the turret back and forth.
Rhymer with the Lyre, Sadhyra d'Illici, Rising Resonance twists the turret towards Xenthos, aiming it at him. "POW!" she says, pulling the ship's gun back, as she mimics its recoil.
Sadhyra shrinks from the implacable gaze of Xenthos.

That wasn't even my fault. Somebody (established) told me "Hey, Barrin broke our laws. (Insert recent bad stuff he did here). Contact a member of the Court to have him enemied when you can." So I did. And apparently the person lied to me or something? I don't know. But mean old Ashteru made me feel silly for it.
Saaga2009-01-30 13:46:25
I told you that he attacked me and that I thought it warrants an enemying. I did not lie. You just took it as "Barrin killed Saaga" to Ashteru, which apparently is an enemiable offense while simply attacking without managing to kill is not.

Ooohhh.
Yeah, Barrin attacks Gloms without killing them all the time.
For some reason.

You choke back a laugh as an irate scholar releases a painfully accurate kick to
Kuailong's shin in retribution for her behaviour.
You crease your brow in a frown.
You say, "Do not touch my daughter."
You step up to an irate scholar and, in one smooth motion, backhand him
viciously across the face.
An irate scholar narrows his eyes at an irate scholar in an unnerving manner.
An irate scholar peers about himself unscrupulously.
An irate scholar narrows his eyes at you in an unnerving manner.
Kuailong stirs slightly in her sleep. A look of hesitation falls over her face
and her body stiffens slightly.
You see an irate scholar shout, "Help! Help! I'm being repressed! New Celest is
manhandling a poor old man! Help! Heeeelp!"
An irate scholar curls his lip and sneers arrogantly at you.

For those who use Mushclient and are curious, a trigger which produces a similar effect (minus blinking) is:
CODE
 Â
  keep_evaluating="y"
  match="^(.*?)$"
  omit_from_output="y"
  regexp="y"
  repeat="y"
  send_to="14"
  sequence="100"
  >
 Â
ColourTell(RGBColourToName (math.random(16711680)),"",string.sub("%0",i,i))
end
Note("")
 Â
The above trigger does foreground only.
