How does being American justify that? Plenty of us have heard English accents. And all kinds of others as well.

Because, I've -never- -ever- heard an actual accent, from an actual person, whom I was holding an actual conversation with. Therefore I have only ever really heard american accents, ((which still confuses me, I don't have an accent sleep.gif ))

That's fine. I'm just questioning using "being American" as justification!

... and there are a lot of American accents as well.
