In The Reaper Man, Bill Door kills an anthromorphic personafication with a scythe sharpened by pure rage.

Marina has been cut down by an emaciated virgin.
You see the death occur at scattered stone shards.
I wonder if they didn't like her typo?

I wonder if the name was chosen in a similar way to this. Might not be on purpose as well, though.

Ser Shuyin says, "Gotta love them chains."

Suddenly I picture Shuyin with a massive chainsaw, sawing at some huge trunk with pieces of wood flying about.

I pictured him in a basement in chains serving as someone's sex slave.

I'm American, I've never -ever- heard an English accent, aside from movies. And I about had a heart attack.. a heart attack of pure sexy.

How does being American justify that? Plenty of us have heard English accents. And all kinds of others as well.
Unknown2009-02-19 00:31:38
Because, I've -never- -ever- heard an actual accent, from an actual person, whom I was holding an actual conversation with. Therefore I have only ever really heard american accents, ((which still confuses me, I don't have an accent ))

That's fine. I'm just questioning using "being American" as justification!
... and there are a lot of American accents as well.
