Yep. What's the lol for? I knew the incident that led to it but I wanted to see how he reasoned it for the logs.

And I'm not complaining or anything, we just needed some quotes and I found it somewhat amusing.
Casilu2009-05-08 18:42:08
Damn, should have kept the log of why I was originally enemied to Glom.

I usually don't think about people logging onto their alts to check the other city's logs, which can be metagaming to the max. I find it amusing smile.gif

Now, I'll have to watch what I write in the logs sad.gif

Taking the information visible on the logs back IC would be metagaming, I'd say.
Lawliet2009-05-08 18:52:06
Izekeal has been incinerated by a king of justice.

(Celest): Learyn (from the Aetherways) says, "That's an oddly appropriate death
for him.."

(Celest): Inthyan says, "Yes, it really is."

It is, but I don't think Havulma's character knows, only Havulma's player.
Ahem. My quote.

She is a fierce dracnari and an unusual specimen. She is tall and lithe, standing over 9 feet tall, (insert other description stuff here) Trailing behind her graceful figure is a long tail that has a length of easily thrice her own height.

Her tail is 27 feet long. WTF is she, a dinosaur?

Exactly. I'm always very careful with those things.

Havulma Talnara, Noyan en-Lam says, "Hmm, I think Kiaris mentioned it once."

You say, "Bards don't even need weed to see random colourful things."

You say, "They have stars."

Havulma Talnara, Noyan en-Lam says, "And they can make others see them."

Havulma Talnara, Noyan en-Lam says, "So bards are basically drugs?"

Adeleide Talnara, Adherent of the Mother says to Havulma, "Yes, I think you should break the ice what that line."

Bits and pieces of french are acceptable, little phrases and cliches and that sort of thing. Nobody speaks only french - it's an accent of sorts, possibly left over in the tribe of humans from wherever they originated, prior to being brought to Lusternia by Estarra. As can be seen from a player attempting to post in total french earlier in the game, Lusternia doesn't recognize languages other than english beyond, as I said, bits and pieces. Whole sentences/news posts/books/what have you in french is a bit much. Once you drift into spanish/german/russian/arabic/hebrew/yiddish, you're crossing that metaphorical line, me thinks.

That said. Moar quotes!

I probably normally wouldn't have posted it, but he did ask for more quotes! And besides, it was a nice save (some of Celest was in Wydyr).

(The Council of the Black Nest): Nyir (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Eye, do you have a verdict regarding the proposal?"

(The Council of the Black Nest): You say, "I believe all is sound."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Dowapaa (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Proposal?"

(The Council of the Black Nest): You say, "The Talons said you had volunteered to keep records. Is this still true?"

(The Council of the Black Nest): Nyir (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Excellent, ayes. Would you like to make the post, then?"

(The Council of the Black Nest): Nyir (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "I did not volunteer, but I shall take the records if it is desired of everyone."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Nyir (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "You may consider this my volunteering if you wish, ayes."

(The Council of the Black Nest): You say, "I would honestly prefer if the Talons did it himself."

(The Council of the Black Nest): You say, "It is his proposal after all."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Nyir (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "This is true, ayes."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Krellan (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "I'm fairly busy I tell you!"

(The Council of the Black Nest): Nyir (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Hmm! What projects do you have planned, Talons?"

(The Council of the Black Nest): Krellan (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Not so much for the guild as for the Swarm."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Nyir (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "I am unopposed to keeping records if you both wish, ayes."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Krellan (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Excellent."

(The Council of the Black Nest): You say, "If you have no objections. I still expect Krellan to play a part in his proposal one way or another."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Nyir (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Regarding the proposal, I can see if there is some way I can shove some of the work into the Talons' hands. For now, though, it seems like it will be simple enough to handle. I am prepared to start whenever the post is made on this, ayes."

(The Council of the Black Nest): You say, "I'm currently assembling it from memory. I'd giving the Talons the letter on which it was written. I'm inclined to ask for it back to double-check."

(The Council of the Black Nest): You say, "I'd given, rather. My common is terrible this month."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Nyir (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "This sounds reasonable, ayes. This shall be his first task, returning the letter to the Eye."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Nyir (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Do not fail us, Talons."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Krellan (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Huh?"

(The Council of the Black Nest): You say, "Do you still carry the letter with your proposal?"

(The Council of the Black Nest): You say, "I gave it to you the other month."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Nyir (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Eye, the Talons has failed us, ayes. He put the letter in my hands instead of yours!"

(The Council of the Black Nest): You say, "Guilddisfavour."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Nyir (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "We may need to put him on probation again, ayes."

(The Council of the Black Nest): You say, "After he's been so reliable, too. A pity."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Viravain says, "Ah, yet another reason."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Dowapaa (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Greetings My Lady."

(The Council of the Black Nest): You say, "Hail, Lady Viravain."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Krellan (from the Aetherways) says, "What reason?!"

(The Council of the Black Nest): Nyir (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Hail, Lady of the Thorns."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Crek says, "Hail, Lady Viravain."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Viravain says, "For letting down the other leaders so soon, Krellan."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Krellan (from the Aetherways) says, "Hardly!"

(The Council of the Black Nest): Krellan (from the Aetherways) says, "I have been more than outstanding."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Nyir (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "We have just seen evidence to the contrary, ayes. The letter was to go into the Eye's hands, not mine, Talons."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Dowapaa (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Well there is certainly no question as to your belief in your own Dark Spirit, Talons."

(The Council of the Black Nest): Nyir (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Ayes, I think that my mentor description for the Talons was rather spot-on."

(The Council of the Black Nest): You say, "I am willing to give the Talons the benefit of the doubt as long as I get the letter one way or another, so I may finally write this post!"

Krellan
Position: Talons of Crow
Tertiary skill: Dreamweaving
Interests: "I am a man of all trades and strengths."
Description: Krellan has a lot to teach a potential protege, but the potential protege must be patient with him. His more spectacular accomplishments are in the realms of combat and drinking. His impressive mastery of False Memory and Dark Spirit is nigh-unmatched.

Well, Drac descriptions are always interesting. Ive seen one that was.. 15 ft tall? But anyways, the usual mistake is the tail lengths. For me, I always assumed the tail length to be equal to or slightly more than the person's height.
