To be fair she belongs just as much in Serenwilde as in Celest. Syrinx is a name in Celest because it's a kind of seashell, but that name in turn derives from a river nymph and the musical instrument made for her, and is also used for the voice box of a songbird. Now, that means she could have claims in three Seren guilds: the Spiritsingers for the songbird and musical instrument connection, the Moondancers since our lake nymph is a fae, and the Shofangi since for no reason anyone has ever been able to explain they have their guildhall associated with that nymph. Boy, did I think way too hard about this one...

Actually, ICly, they're named Syrinx after Eventru had a really bad sneeze for a month and it kept coming out 'SYRINX' and so finally Maylea painted him a shell as a joke and bam, Syrinx.
