Parasites are cute!

About a foot in length, this parasite is a grey-skinned creature of clearly
aggressive intent. Its miniscule black eyes glow crimson with bloodlust, and a
set of circular teeth glisten with saliva. It writhes about in a most
uncontrolled fashion, driven with the sole desire of feeding upon fresh flesh.

I can also actually kill them, which is nice.

Rave: Illithoid hunt in Squad earlier with Iola, Zaralesis, Garia and Oralon. Good fun. Hunting in groups makes hunting not so boring as it usually is.

You should see a Serenguard hunt. I scare all the young ones with my uncharacteristic screaming and raging attacks. Hunting is definitely more fun in a group.

Agreed, hunting in groups is much more fun. I should take my squishy faeling-self bashing more often.

This is a Bad Thing. Frivolous issues are a horrible way to try to exert your will. They take admin time, they're obnoxious to the person being issued even if it's rejected, and they directly cause random pontificating, chest beating, and inconsistent admin policies.

And maybe about 2-3 hours of that, I was reading all their GHELP scrolls. Then another half an hour figuring out forms.
And I wasn't even being efficient. I should have skipped Newton immediately. I could have killed those rockeaters and moose (meese?) while gathering scholars and bards. I couldn't get to Spectre Isle because I couldn't find a waterwalking enchant, and by the time I did, I found out about Gliding.

And I looked at the hunting guide. Everything is 10-15 levels below other guild recommendations. Wow. I should have gone to Vesarvir Valley and Upper Shallach way earlier.

Edit: I'd just add a mini-rave about how everything in this forums can get sidetracked. Yes, it is a rave. I love that I can look at the thread title, click on it, and find a totally different topic.
