Yes. It works on (most) mobs that follow.

I think Elostian is just setting Hallifax up for failure.

I think I'll rave a bit for Glom's. The 32 hour limit is obnoxious, but there is at least some semblance of variety and diversity in what needs to be done, and it is significantly more atmospheric and flavourful than gathering squid or binge bashing mutts for hours.
Amen to that.

Please be adviced that you can 'beckon' mobiles that you have previously influenced and have stopped following you.
This is the kind of thing that should at least be in a help or AB file somewhere

Hatching a dragon, and brainstorming Templar stuff with future guildmates.

Definitely doesn't work on seekers.

Due to mechanics however, if the mob actually resets (and isn't just lost by some means or another) you won't be able to beckon. I think they get bumped to an hour reset time when they're influenced, but I haven't had a chance to look. I will later, and adjust appropriately if they don't.

Rave for Hallifax getting 200k power.
Now all we're waiting on is Estarra (et al) for Researchers.

I would imagine we actually have to decide what guild we want first (and decide it icly not on forums)

ICly, we want Researchers.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Hallifaxian RP governs that it is the choice of the higher castes and not anybody else - or even the leader + board. I personally want to see the Researchers, but I understand the pros and cons of wanting them - especially considering the Sentinels may be a much more plausible choice ATM.
Unknown2010-01-14 20:30:58
If it comes down to being able to get Sentinels sooner because they require less work, I can see people spazzing out and blowing the power immediately.
On the upside, it means that we'll force some people through the epic quest line for more power.

Rodngar2010-01-14 20:34:09
It's not the workload that is plausible, it's the fact that everybody seems to think Guardians are a 'supportive' class, as opposed to Warriors not being 'supportive'. The first true supportive class I've ever seen besides maybe Bards is Aeromancer. Guardians can do their killing just fine and would benefit incredibly from what Aeromancy provides in a team battle. I personally see it plausible because it provides us a physical class so we attract people who just don't like playing mages or clerics.

There isn't anyone in the higher castes right now except Saaga. It must be lonely up there. I'm sure the citizens will all get a say, no one wants to strip the game of that much fun that they wouldn't let the city have a say in the decision.

We all know it's gonna be the guardians.
If only out of a rabid desire to learn what their damn name is.
