You have logged in a total of 17 days in February.
The perception of time momentarily slows to a fraction as Lachesis studies the Tapestry of Fate, carefully measuring each strand before making notations in a great tome. Time rushes forward as the memory fades, yet the feeling remains that your history in Lusternia is recorded in the great annals of fate, for better or for worse.

Yeah, I definitely got double credit for today too. It's not 18 yet, but it's good!
EDIT: Wait, it's still happening?

They barrelled through something like twenty weaves, at LEAST.

Clearly the gods are protesting this new affinity thing by sabotaging time itself.

Nejii being a Changeling is pretty much the justification for the racial haphazardness of the entire Talnara line.
I thought it's because we were all adopted kids.

Part true. Each child is a clump of shedded fur that grew up.

Sort of like Gremlins. You know.. don't get them wet. Don't feed them after midnight. Don't expose them to sunlight.

You thrust your hand out to a kephera worker and beg shamelessly.
A kephera worker sighs dramatically and searches his pockets, looking for
something to give you.
: You have completed the 'Silvertongue' Achievement! You have
earned 100% Experience Bonus for 24 Hours.
He gives many golden sovereigns to you.

Yay.
Now, just another 90,000 influences to go. ._.

Yes, Ali is making stuff up. I ended up going with option C that Lendren didn't cover!
EDIT: And customising my cameo so no one could argue with me
Lendren2010-02-12 16:15:12
I customized mine too for the same reason. Seems to me they have it backwards, you should show changeling in your honors if you don't wear it, instead if if you do, just so people can back up the idea that it's granted by the cameo by wearing it, or that it's innate by not wearing it (so no one even sees you have it). But I understand why it's done that way (for the theoretical person who wants to keep it secret entirely).
Unknown2010-02-12 16:29:44
Except the cameo is what grants it. Because before you buy one, you're not a changeling. And then you buy one, and you are a changeling. I'm really not seeing why this is a complicated issue.

The other idea is that the cameo "awakens" what was already a part of you and you just didn't know it.
Unknown2010-02-12 17:21:28
But what if someone who isn't secretly a changeling buys a cameo.
Unknown2010-02-12 17:25:12
Now, you've just opened the "we're all changelings waiting to get out" argument, I'm afraid.

Pretty much the view you take if you decide it's just an artifact you buy, yeah.

Not necessarily, you could go with "the artefact has the power of race-changing which it will confer on you if you use it."

Big to Kiradawea, and a little one for Lehki and Lendren and everyone else who helped! Thanks.
You're welcome. Too bad that never stays for long. And getting 16 males in a row is very disheartening.

my new bedroom. I think the only non-cuddly thing in it is the dresser.
A cozy nesting chamber.
Beyond the covered archway that connects to the main atrium the ceiling, floor, and walls curve together at the far end of the room. The ceiling is low, the room obviously sized for a furrikin or faeling. The walls are covered with tapestries and colorful banners, while the floor is piled high with cushions and pillows and blankets. On the exposed surfaces of the room you can see a superbly detailed etching of intertwining vines and flowers. Illuminated only by light spilling in from the atrium and faint whorls of color that shimmer in the air, this cozy room exists in a perpetual state of twilight. Jade leaves gleam softly from the silver handles of this dresser's closed drawers. A grand and delicate forestal tapestry hangs here, displaying a heroic figure standing in defiance. A tapestry of Mother Moon is here, Her three avatars portrayed in elegance. A large tapestry hangs here, its radiant colours and artful design depicting a scene of primeval woodland harmony. An understated image of a golden-eyed painter drawing beauty from a field of flowers decorates a tapestry here. A plush black carpet occupies the floor here. A disorganized bed of loose cushions sprawls here.
There are no obvious exits.
