Gay rights in Lusternia were never an issue - pride came about as a result of perceived subjugation of said rights. Since sexuality has never been a topic of persecution, it's nonsensical to have a parade celebrating them/it.

Some recent comments in this thread reminded me how refreshing it was to discover that same-gender couplings and marriages have been a natural part of Lusternia since the game's inception, not only for mortals, but for god characters as well (even if said couplings are only hinted at or imagined by the players). Even more pleasant is that this progressive atmosphere is simply taken in stride by pretty much everyone.

I'm more moderate than liberal in real life, but tolerance of and respect for people's* individual gender identities and sexual orientation is pretty clearly the moral high ground.
