I don't use up much of that only because I'm not around at the times when it's happening, or if I am, I'm at home and unable to contribute. But I use up hundreds of thousands of essence at a pop on zapping during raids, and that adds up to something. Last Etherwilde raid I was at while at home (admittedly a few weeks ago) I burned about three fourths of a million essence on zaps.

I think he's talking about the 120,000,000 Sojiro used up on Ascendance that doesn't count towards the rankings at all. Domoths != Ascendance.
