Perhaps try pausing before you want to sleep.
Razenth2009-06-01 06:41:05
I've had pipe bugs before too. I THINK the lighting script happens even when you're paused, which doesn't make any sense. I'll need to test against someone to see if I can reproduce, but I swore I got into a spar where the pipes decided to light while I was waiting for Soulless.

I haven't paid for support and I know some other people have had the problem where the influence script just...stops firing. As in, I can IT and set to EMPOWER/CHARITY etc but when I do INF...nothing happens. And no, I'm not paused, the scripts are all in the right places and enabled, there's nothing wrong with the aliases and I didn't change anything.
If anyone knows off the top of their heads that would be lovely.

Yes. This is exactly the sort of constructive response I needed. Thank you, forums.

Have you got AUTO INFLUENCE ON? I had this problem when I first got it.
I may be wrong, but I think if you buy Larkin's premium scripts, you get support with them.
Unknown2009-06-01 10:44:41
Yes, any premium script comes with support for that script. I have documentation in text files now, so if you don't yet have that, let me know, and I'll send it to you. Might help with some of the features and customizations you didn't even know existed yet.

I do have it on, but it's still not liking me
I know email is preferred so I'll send all the info to you, Iasmos. Not that I really know what's gone wrong!

I'm somewhat bothered by the lack of support for Acrobatics. Is this planned Zarquan?

It was planned, until I implemented it, and then I took it off my todo list.
(In other words, you're missing it all or you're being vague in your request.)

It won't respond when I turn the acrobatics modes on.

Either installed it wrong or just haven't upgraded in a good while.
Unknown2009-06-03 02:08:47
Well I've been using 1.25, so it should have worked, but it's moot point anyway. I got it to work. For some reason it was showing the options, but not accepting the aliases, so I had to /treant:Install() again...

Okay, so, I've been having trouble with grapples in spars against other Shofangi. I haven't tested this against any of the other monks, but whenever another Shofangi grapples me, I get completely screwed over because it marks the grapple aff, and then tries to writhe grapple, but once I escape, either by writhing out or being released, it doesn't clear the grapple affliction, so it keeps trying to writhe grapple every time I recover balance, which then throws me off balance. I lose balance and then stay off balance until I manually RESET AFFS, and all the while, Yurika is beating the living out of me. Thoughts?
Unknown2009-06-03 11:10:41
My thoughts? You need to send me a brief log (via e-mail) of this happening so I can find and fix the bug.
Kiradawea2009-06-03 13:29:42
My thoughts? Convince Yurika to come back to Celest.

Until this year, I played Lusternia on a homemade client that a friend of mine made a decade ago that has been out of date since 1993. And it worked! Pretty damn well no less. You'd be shocked how awesome and lethal a pile of garbage can be.

Bleh. So. Trying to set up another character on Treant, can't get spiritbonding to work. I'd assume that there are triggers for this, since I'm pretty sure that Iasmos is a Totems user.
Anyway, I stole the fdef script that was posted a little while ago, did the exact same thing I did with Ila, and it doesn't work.

So, anybody know what's wrong? All it does is bond to squirrel and then stop.

I am, and always have been, a Totems person. However, bonded spirits are not considered defenses, and therefore you can't treat them as such in Treant. You should look into the "do" alias instead.
