Stone, wood, energy... It's still an obstacle meant to keep what's inside seperated from the outside and vice versa.

Yet only one of them actually involves tearing down what the pre-existing life that was there before and building something on its mutilated remains...
(Seriously, why do you think 'a wall' is the significant difference between a city and a commune? I think you forgot what Serenwilde looked like since you were living there.)

Zacc, go monk and take psionics. Use shift to get through the wooden doors.

Funny he wields the same sarcasm but fails to get it when used on him?
Zacc stop whining, there are so many issues to actually whine about, and you are stuck on one that really doesn't matter...

Actually, I did get it and responded with more.
Well, until said issues are fixed, I'd rather not have to deal with them. Hence the request for village door removal and gate building. And I'm only whining as much as you are about my "whining". My whining fuels your whine, which fuels my whine? Moar, please.

You can get your door-removal when I get my magical barrier with portals.

That was Serenwilde's big argument against Celest back then. "They surround themselves by stone walls, seperating from Nature, etc etc etc whine babble preach."
You can have your magical barrier with portals when I get gates that have perms.

I really think you need to take the average Celest-room and compare it to an average Seren-room, because if you think the main issue lives in the walls... well...
And I'm fine with your edit. It just means neither of us will get any of our requested changes and the situation will remain as-is, which (while it can be frustrating) isn't game-breaking.

It's the lack of totems, I'm sure. The amount of rooms isn't a problem. Communal powers activate! In the form of nature flow! In the shape of zerg squad!
Oh fine. You can have your barrier thing and portals. I just wanted those damned doors removed.

I suggest that every time you open and close a door within the span of half a second, the hinge on the door gets loose, and eventually the door just falls off.
As my mommy always said "stop playing with the doors, you'll break it!" (or your finger, whatever)
Edit: ok, actuallly thats a better idea.
Every time you open or close a door within a span of a half second, you have a chance of the door breaking your arm. (and ofcourse you can't close or open doors with broken arms)

Or it gets jammed and can't be opened at all. And which one it is, is totally random!

I think the end result of this thread is "either stay out of the rooms with doors or get an ability/enchantment to break them down."
(By the way, Astral does have doors.)

Many a time on astral I have been saved on Astral by closing a door and using magelock on it. Astral creatures cannot use doors or do anything.
And don't change the doors! Some of the most memorable experiences I've had of Lusternia is the 'Door opening/closing' spamming. Great fun.
