I seriously doubt Samus or whatever his name is is Eventru's lover.

And as for the Catholic thing Fania mentioned, no. It would be Greek not Roman Catholic. And in Old Greece, I suppose that was considered normal.

I know that. I was referring to the Catholic priest who have (or who have said to have had) relations with little boys. There wouldn't be anything IC about it, but OOC someone would bring it up and be nasty about it, making many people feel uncomfortable.

That's right. Sometimes you wear a pin (I still have one from last year) and carry cards with you that explain what you are doing, but in a world where everyone speaks (even when they shouldn't), a Day of Silence is pretty profound.

I learned something today. Go me!

I'm from Arkansas, we aren't allowed to encourage gay people sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif

Just kidding, we aren't that back woods. I don't know many gay people OOC, but I do have this one hispanic guy that likes to try and grab my ass at work. Which sucks, because I'm a steel worker, it's hard to live that down.

Yeah... that's sexual harassment. That's not good.
Daganev2009-03-27 23:29:19
I'm confused... isn't Samus a girl with a really awesome gun attached to her arm?

There are guns in Lusternia?

No it's not... (at least it shouldn't be)

Now if he was the supervisor, and started giving you crummy work if you expressed your frustration with the activity, THEN that would be S.H.

I would not have guessed Shad was a steel worker.

It's not that weird.

There are hints at a few others. tongue.gif

I got lesbian vibes from Mugowumpois and Tauro.

EDIT: As far as I can tell, things like gender and age are immaterial to Lusternian divine. In much the same way Meridian and Amberle were lovers despite being brother and sister, I can appreciate how an "older" (from our perspective) Divine could take on a "younger" one as a lover. However, I'd argue against Samus being Eventrus lover on the basis that, as Raziela's brother, he is a half-formed, and thus a step below an Elder God. It would be more like a human molesting an ape. The age of the ape is irrelevant, because it would still be a terrible thing to do.
Ashteru2009-03-27 23:53:31
Actually, I thought shards were to gods like apes to humans. And halfformed are above shards, aren't they? So more like, a human molesting a neanderthal.

Irrespective. It's still grotesque from an IC perspective.
Ashteru2009-03-27 23:56:11
I dunno, Neanderthals brains were, supposedly, bigger than humans!
Jack2009-03-27 23:57:48
Neanderthals did not have oreos. They were clearly an inferior lifeform.
Kiradawea2009-03-27 23:57:51
Well, it's not all about size ya know. Even then, they were distinctly different from our kind.

No, you don't. Just not something I see everyday.

Wtf, why are posts by Jack spamming my facebook when I log in? D:

This is an interesting question. Would you sleep with an alien if it looked like a human, was as intelligent as one but was not the same species?
Jack2009-03-28 00:03:01
Do you have any friends other than me, Ashy?

EDIT: This is the thing, mortals/half-formed are not as intelligent as Divine. Our perception of Lusternian Divine is limited by their players, who are of course humans. But in the lore of the game they are far superior beings to shards.

Yes, yes I would.
