ALRIGHT.
Read carefully.
Rika gave me the death note, which works as she described and makes me strongly suspect that she's town because it's way too damn risky a gambit to give that kind of power away to a townie. Since I figured I was already a high priority target due to being semi-confirmed town, and Rika likely being protected (which she probably should be) I made the death note eye deal, which let me ID Silferras, Xiran and Sadhyra. It turns out I don't actually die unless I kill someone with the death note, so I'm gonna suggest we lynch my recommended target and force the scum to get rid of me manually. Hopefully (unless I go to mu or something awkward like that) you'll then be able to tell who I am and derive whatever information about that you can.
I feel awkward outing Sadhyra and Silferras but I think it's worth it because I can't determine their identities just from their names. Silferras is the movie's eponymous "Dirty Harry", I think he was a hero, and Sadhyra is "the Bride" from Kill Bill which I have never seen so I don't know what that is. Xiran, however, is Anastasia Smirnoff, the broken-as-hell cultist from that one annoying mafia game Xavius set up. I strongly suspect she's a villain and kidnapped Noola. To test that theory, let's kill her. If she turns out to be a townie we can deduce that Silferras' and Sadhyra's IDs might not be safe.
Oh, and before I forget and since I'm likely to die anyway, I'll also tell you this: Doman is pretty resilient. Keep an eye out on him. Maybe he's the silver surfer or something, he was in a mafia game recently and I think he's supposed to be invulnerable in the comics. And I forget what alignment he was that game but normally I'd expect him to be on his own.

err, first sentence made no sense. I mean, to give that away if you're NOT a townie...like, if she was a scum, she'd need to keep that advantage because her identity is precious, and giving info to the townies would be retarded, even if it does make her probably trusted.

Just a couple of things. Casilu told me that if the note was not used and the person holding it had died, whoever killed them would be able to take it. Therefore, I highly suggest you pass the note on to someone you feel you can trust. Two reasons for this. First, it might save your life. Second, it means we won't give the scum a chance at getting a day kill.

Oh . I didn't get that info. Ummm...ok. I'm not gonna say who I'm passing it to though, that's a major wildcard.
That or I'll use it. Hmmmmmmmmm. Means I'll die from the eyes, but...I'll decide as the day goes on and see if anyone else has anything smart to say.

I can confirm that Xikue is not scum but I cannot say anything else. She is my associate. (I hope I didn't say too much and get modkilled.)
Shiri2009-01-31 09:40:41
Wtf is with everyone either not being able to claim or claiming not to be able to claim?!
Saaga2009-01-31 09:51:10
Mhm. And this is my second mafia game ever (the first one ended shortly) and it's hard enough as it is.

Bah my internet froze. Sorry for the doublepost.
Furien2009-01-31 11:40:20
Unless your role says otherwise, you're probably lying if you say 'I can't roleclaim because the mod might be mean to me'. That goes both to Shaddus and Saaga (in her case it's understandable based on her experience).
Also: why would a villain kidnap their fellow villains? Better yet, why are we kidnapping people as our group is moving? And why would we bother kidnapping cops when we want to kill them?

Doman2009-01-31 13:06:47
Furien makes a lot of good points, mostly about the kidnapping. It may be a cult or a serial killer who hides the body.
Doman2009-01-31 13:10:00
Also, Shiri is right, I'm basically unkillable. Not gonna do a full claim, but the only normal way to kill me is to lynch me, except for apparantly the deathnote.
Unknown2009-01-31 14:09:53
The Bride is an assassin, so she's likely on our side, however, Dirty Harry is a cop. I'd say the name alone is pretty obviously giving us our lynch target for today. So...

Huh? Your post contains a bunch of confusing assumptions or miswordings. Like that Noola is a "fellow villain" and that "we're" kidnapping people. Kidnapping cops? HUH?
SAW with the "dirty harry was a cop" thing: Right. That makes sense. I'm glad I brought it here, that should have been blatantly obvious.

DO keep an eye out on Xiran though, and I guess Saaga. And Shaddus hasn't been modkilled yet...

Seems pretty obvious that cops are no-go and that Dirty Harry needs to be cleaned up. With a shovel, if you get my drift.

Actually, if she doesn't make a convincing claim of some sort before I'm about to go to bed I might just draw the ol' concrete shoes on her to get the possibility of the mafia taking the noto out of the way. Then we can have another look at Xiran.

I don't know what dirty harry is but if you say she's a cop/mafia, I guess she's gotta go. Vote:Silferras

Dirty Harry was a police inspector played by Clint Eastwood in a famous 70s movie. He's the one with the "Do ya feel lucky, punk?" line that gets misquoted all the time.
Shiri2009-01-31 15:03:41
Actually, reading the film synopsis I have this terrible suspicion that s/he has a 50% chance to daykill or something. Sorry if I'm wrong, Silferras!
