Also, and just curious, since we did kill one scum today, does anything think a no-lynch might be able to be considered? I ask because every robber we keep alive, that's a full day extra that we survive. Not saying we should go this route, just wondering what people think about it, since, as Shiri said, this is fairly high-powered and we seem to have other investigators.

Yes, ok now it seems were getting somewhere. Shiri, are you going to die now? The Deathnote is only one-shot correct?

So, it would seem that no-one on the robbers side is able to reveal anything about our roles. Following that though, how come Doman revealed that info about his role? Is it ok for someone to talk about his or her role if some of it has been revealed already?

I'm not too sure on whether Sadhyra is Robbers or Cops here, as there a different ways to interpret "The Bride" character from the movies. I think the best targets right now are either Doman or Xiran.

True about the Bride, but right now we know we have two cops, which Sadhyra isn't allied with, so, even if there is a separate win condition, its still in the Bride's best interest to go after the cops for now as well.

Interesting thing...we'll see just when I die and how much I can do in the meantime. ninja.gif There is actually something else I can do than what I've already done but I don't want to give the scum any more info on it than they can already piece together.

Mega dangerous assumption. It's just completely impractical to go with the "town can't claim" thing even if it's true because then you're just going to roll to any scum doing the same thing (which they inevitably will.) Someone should explain the bride character, but in the meantime my vote's on Xiran. Also I think it's a good idea to trust Rika at this point.

Something I think is worth noting: Shaddus was apparently caught talking to someone else at night. ONE other person. Not two, as you'd expect. We know their scum group is 3 people so I don't think it could easily be Silferras, Shaddus, Ytraelux AND the person that caught him doing that, meaning that Shaddus is unlikely to be part of the same scum group as Silferras. Whoever caught him could still be scum though, since all that would do is confirm his mason claim to some extent (and Silferras seems to have had an identification skill anyway.)

Anyway, I'm going to bed, so good luck.

And since I was ninja'd: strongly do not recommend no lynch. We need to capitalise on the opportunity Rika/me just got us.
Shaddus2009-01-31 17:20:04
To answer someone's earlier questions, since I just woke up.... I forget exactly what I claimed, but I know I claimed mason. Casilu sent me a warning. From my past experiences of being modkilled, I'd rather not cross the line, since I don't know how much is "too much" to talk about. However, I feel safe in saying:

I am a mason with Ytralux. I am not mafia, I win with the robbers. The role we both held in our prior game was not mafia. My role sucks ass, and unless I gain some powers, I'm pretty damn weak.

If you believe me, good. If not, not my fault. sad.gif

And I didn't play in half of the mafia games mentioned so far (kill bill, dirty harry) so I don't really know who is good or bad in those.

The Bride in Kill Bill is an assassin. She retires to get married but then the assassin group she was a part of comes after her, but rather than dying she ends up in a coma for years. When she wakes up she goes on a mission to kill the people who had something to do with it.

Oh, that chick. Erm, she was sort of the good guy in the movie, are we saying she's town or mafia, or maybe an SK?

I think she's probably a role that has a side-objective, but otherwise wins with the robbers--there's no way the Bride is with the cops, given that she's a very bloody-handed assassin. That, and the cops had no contact with her.\\

As for SK, I doubt it, since we only lost 1 person last night. Vigilante is a good possibility though.

I agree, no lynch is generally a bad idea anyway.

Well, The Bride was a member of an elite assassin group called "The Snakes" or something like that. She had a sort of relationship with the Leader, Bill and got pregnant. But then she got tired of that life and went off to marry some other normal joe while pregnant with Bill's child. Bill gets pised and him and the other members of the assassin group she was in crash her wedding and basically kill everyone and beat The Bride into a coma. She wakes up a few years later and goes on to take revenge on each one, one at a time. Basically, I'm a little fuzzy on the details.

She's definitely a protagonist, but she was an assassin at one point...maybe Sadhyra's a Serial Killer?

I am not allowed to reveal anything about my role. Interpret as you will...

Gack. Day two is moving quickly.

As seen by Serella's and Silferras's deaths, fellow robbers are the villainous sort. While I didn't follow the entirety of Xavius's mafia game, Shiri's Death Note eye ability says Anastasia was a baddie in that mafia game.
I am not a cultist though. Seeing as how our moderator Casilu likes to mix things up, I think I can say I'm not the only one whose profile has been changed from his or her original role.

While I was not willing to trust Rika or Shiri on the first day, due to their eagerness to lynch Serella, their handling and use of the Death Note today indicates they are not with the feds. Based on the information we have, the people I'm looking at suspiciously are Shaddus and Sadhyra. Others have mentioned Shaddus was seen talking to one other person, and I do not believe his original mason claim. Sadhyra as the Bride from Kill Bill and her suggestions on day one make me think her role's not that of a team player.
I'm not sure what to make of the information on Doman.
Unknown2009-01-31 18:21:10
Gah. Want to edit. I meant Shaddus and Ytraelux.

I know who James Gordon is, but who is the other guy?
Nobody seems to be able to reveal anything about their role.

Vote: Doman
Because if he can't die except by lynching, I want to know more about his role. He didn't say he can't roleclaim, so let's pressure him a little.

How do those even correlate? Mason = Talking to one other person. I can talk to Ytralux, and he has confirmed this. I can't talk to anyone else.

I think you are grasping at straws, and trying to lynch obviously town people.

One, I don't believe there could be two mason groups. Two, your falling back to describing yourself and Ytraelux as brothers.

John Mclain is the hero from the Die Hard series.

And while I agree that Sadhyra may have a secondary goal, I don't think it's necessarily anti-town--the Bride doesn't kill people who aren't against her in the movie, and we didn't lose multiple people last night, so an SK is unlikely.

What other masons are there?

And the closest thing you could describe Ytraelux and I as, is brothers. Or co-workers.
