I finally am switching over to cmud but there's a few things I'm really unable to recode... now is there anyone here that could do a few codes for me or a program that'll translate the code?

Switching over to zmud? Do you mean that, or are you going to cmud?
Munsia2008-12-16 20:17:34
I meant switching over to cmud.
I'm tired buster!

Cmud has a function to do that doesn't it?

not that I would advice using cmud, you will probably be happier with zmud

Not really. Systems are too sparse and the makers are too cheeky.

If cmud has the function I don't know where it is :/

When you open cmud just import the old zmud system file and it should recognise and convert it to cmud.
Qival2008-12-16 20:32:24
you can import by clicking file in the sessions window, then select import zmud sessions

edit: aww Ilyarin beat me by 3 minutes, I fail so hard sad.gif

It doesn't recognize it. It's looking for a .exe?

if you use the import I said, just the folder with your .mud files that you want to import
Munsia2008-12-16 20:38:58
Ya. I click import from zmud. It goes to the zmud directory. I click Lusternia. Nothing's there.

It's searching for a .exe

Apparently it's wanting to load zmud itself that way.
But when I click Lusternia through that it loads Lusternia's 'Session' but no system with it. I want a few things that are in there ><

All I'm trying to do is get my zmud influencing settings and attack macro's out of there. A few things I can't recode because I didn't make them.

You can make a CMUD session and set your zMUD .mud file as the main settings file. The first time you load that session it will convert your settings to a CMUD package (leaving the old .mud untouched, making a new .pkg file). It'll give you the option to display the compatibility report afterwards to give you a rough estimate on what might not work 100%. If your stuff is simple, you shouldn't have too many problems.
Munsia2008-12-17 01:10:17
Still not sure how to even get it to load the .mud file. When I make a cmud session. I go to load. I search for something to load, but it's looking for .pkg not .mud and I can't get it to look for .mud

edit: I take that back. It's looking for .mud's but they aren't showing up and they ARE in there
Unknown2008-12-17 01:19:48
Edit Session, Package Files tab, Browse button, Select .mud file from whatever directory it's actually located in (presumably your zMUD installation directory), Save session, Open session offline to convert settings.
Munsia2008-12-17 01:27:35
The files are not showing as being in the folder to click.

I'm not doing it wrong you're telling me wrong suspicious.gif

I did exactly what you said.

The little thing even says it's set to look for .mud and .pkg files. The fact is they aren't showing up. Is there something possibly blocking these from view?
Unknown2008-12-17 13:37:23
Are you absolutely, 100%, without a doubt sure that you're looking in the right directory for them? The only reason the .mud files would not show up is if they aren't there, so I still suspect you didn't look in the right place for them. harhar1.gif
Munsia2008-12-17 20:17:05
I load up my zmud. I look in the directory where all my systems are. I go back slowly... Lusternia to zmud to program files to c to computer.

I repeat this. I go to Computer to C to program files to zmud to lusternia on cmud now and they are still not there.
