What? I gave no indication I have a lie detector deal! It was an example. If someone picked up investigation powers powers (and clairsentience/ghost-seeing seem good examples) from a plasmid then they wouldn't want to admit it to everyone until it came up with something useful.

Now if we did have a lie detector I had no resistance to immediately declaring myself loyal to the shipwrecked survivors but Rika nor Dugan have not done the same.
As such I have no fear that any lie detector would not find me speaking the truth in my post, but they are hesitant to do the same.

I'm beginning to think those lie detection strategies could be flawed though...you could lie about one thing and tell the truth on two others so it'd come out mostly truthful. Hm. Depends how the mod runs it.

I don't think you can analyse statements, only whole posts.

Morhgor: traditionally lie detectors are single posts, so generally you wait until you find someone who shows up as lying about an important fact about their allegiance then jump to the attack.

Note that if that doesn't happen it might also be that we just don't have a lie detector (they're not common), also Ilyarin isn't awake yet.
