I am highly suspicious that Alianna cnofuses me for a truth-assessor and then you come out with this, but Vote: Rika on the premise that we probably gank you tomorrow if she turns out to have been telling the truth.

It's also why I kept on them to make the statements because I knew there was a lie-detector
Noola2008-12-24 09:26:02
Alright, well, I can't think of any way that would explain Rika lying about her aligence that doesn't end with her being scum, so, Vote Rika.

Bone-chilling words reverberate through the city of Rapture, "Jack... Would you kindly see to Saran?" A few moments pass in uncertain silence before an agonised scream cuts the air, suddenly cut short.

Saran was...

Bryan Cox

You are loyal to the shipwrecked survivors.

This was your umpteenth journey on this cruise ship, which has been your sole job since you left home at eighteen, escaping from a violent father and a druggie mother. When it crashed, you were almost happy for a break from the norm of serving overly-happy passengers their over-priced drinks. Yet, seeing your grim surroundings, you forget for a moment that your past was as desolate as the city of Rapture, wishing desperately for the back of your father's hand, or the intolerable cries of your mother.

..I don't get it.

lame

Looks like someone on Rika's team decided to get him out of the way at a weird time. While that is suspicious and I detect a faint whiff of "yeah, definitely lynch Rika, she just tried to off him while under suspicion", I still think we have to lynch Rika, since Saran was clearly loyal and thus likely telling the truth.
Rika2008-12-24 12:18:39
Where in Saran's role did it say he had any special abilities?
Shiri2008-12-24 12:25:55
It didn't, presumably because he got them via plasmid instead of having them innately (which makes sense, being a lie detection thing.)

I suspect the Jack-order-killing was an innate of a rapture nativ, though.

So does this mean that Jack isn't good? confused.gif
Shiri2008-12-24 13:04:42
I don't know if one of us is Jack - it's possible. Jack was the protagonist of bioshock. If you told him "would you kindly" do X he would be compelled to do X due to some nasty conditioning. It's not really his fault but if he's in the game as a player we probably have to kill him anyway. MAYBE. We definitely have to kill whoever's giving him orders (too bad it didn't work when Daganev tried it...tongue.gif)
Shaddus2008-12-24 14:17:09
Jack, would you kindly kill Rika?

Hey, it's worth a shot, right?
Shiri2008-12-24 14:30:14
Daganev already tried that, unfortunately. My guesses are A), suggestion over Jack is a scum ability (possibly 1-shot?) or cool.gif Jack is just a specific daykill message rather than being a player. Eh. Could go a bunch of ways.
Ilyarin2008-12-24 14:55:57
@Shaddus: No, no he won't. tongue.gif

Weird!

Is there any way to tell who Jack is? Or is it more likely that Shiri is right and no one is actually Jack, he's just the name of a daykill? Cause if he's a person, and we can find him, we'll prolly have to kill him to keep that sorta thing from happening again, totally.
Noola2008-12-24 17:29:29
Oh, and I'm gonna be a bit out of touch today. I've been recruited for cooking all day and prolly won't get back to a computer until sometime tonight. Try not to let anything else crazy happen while I'm away! laugh.gif
