Back to The Real World.

Shiri, I think you might be confused. From what I remember, people didn't become splicers until they ran out of EVE and got addicted. I doubt using your powers is gonna corrupt you unless there's some kind of hint
Shiri2008-12-28 14:08:56
How would they become splicers if they ran out of EVE? It needed EVE to work.

Sorry, I've been a bit busy with the holidays so haven't stopped in much.

I am loyal to the shipwrecked survivors. I did use one plasmid, which gave me some sort of daykill ability, but I have no other special abilities.

Hope that's able to clear my role up!
Shiri2008-12-28 15:03:02
Huh. A daykill?

Well, that's content.

Also, now that you've posted that much, please explain the nature of this daykill in detail. I don't think it can be counterproductive.

I already said I got the investigation plasmid and haven't come up with anything useful yet, was intending to wait until I actually found out something useful before saying anything. I'm loyal to shipwreck survivors as well.
Shiri2008-12-28 15:18:28
You're right, I just failed to read properly

Wait.

You can't search corpses, but you can interact with them towards yourself?

WTF. Who wrote this game? (( Not the mafia one, Bioshock itself))
Shaddus2008-12-28 15:24:24

INTERACT WITH WATER TOWARDS MYRKR

Maybe that will work?
Shiri2008-12-28 15:25:03
You can do both in bioshock, it's just a case of Ilyarin wanting to include IC event flags for ability users and having to respond with "I can't USE these things together" for every other kind of attempt to do something with them.

The daykill allows me to batter someone over the head with a wrench to death. It doesn't say it's a one-shot thing, so I assume I can use it once per day. Also, I'm not sure if I need an actual wrench to use it - guess I'll just wait and see if one pops up in a room description?
Shiri2008-12-28 15:54:08
Hm. Well, that's ambiguous. Thanks.
Ilyarin2008-12-28 17:00:40
Shaddus, Myrkr. Please, stop. tongue.gif

Made up abilities, or abilities you clearly do not actually have, will now be ignored.
Reiha2008-12-28 17:06:42
Man, I'm so lost with what's going on. When there's a lynch train, let me know!
Aerotan2008-12-28 20:08:47
Wasn't the wrench something exclusive to Jack?
Diamondais2008-12-28 20:57:45
I'm back now, still busy however (I have a family dinner and a party tonight).

Nothing to really add right now.
Shaddus2008-12-28 22:05:19
Mod, I'm still confused.

I don't have the ability to interact with the water? Or I can't interact with it towards Myrkr?
Or I have to have a certain ability to interact with something?

I am not the Mod, but it's the bolded.

You don't have the ability unless you get a PM stating otherwise. He got tired of people mistaking "playful" interactions for actual interactions.
Ilyarin2008-12-28 23:27:56
You don't have the ability to interact with anything. If you haven't had a PM from me stating a certain ability that you have, you don't have it, so you can't use it.

Looks like a lot of our typical roles got randomized via plasmids.
