So yeah, no, for me. I'm in Lady Isune's Order and there are hardly any members. She doesn't even have a temple yet! So I'm not saying no to everyone, but it would really suck if someone like Fain declared war on Isune.
My alt had some interesting RP with Isune a long time ago. I don't think there's any possibility for more now though as this alt in question is now in Mag. But Isune!

Not only does it feel artificial, forced and contrived to me to suddenly be kicked out of an area, but rooms can also be impacted by certain skills. The obvious example would be demesnes. We have always rejected ideas where demesnes would evaporate under any circumstance, whether it be village revolts or wild nodes or weakenings (Roark has told me several times that coding removal of demesnes raises of host of issues). Certainly, we aren't going to start now.
If you do end up wanting to restrict it, how about instead of kicking people out, you make it so the energies of the area simply cause a fair chunk of passive damage or afflictions to anyone who isn't in the invading or defending order, or one of their allied orders? Or that damage they did was cut back significantly. Or that they were intermittently peaced. Or something like that. Then people could bring others, but the others they brought would be at a sizable disadvantage. You could benefit by bringing friends, but actual members will count a lot more than unallied friends.

Hrm is there something that determens how many loyals a divine has in their temple? Because right now it seems Fain has a lot of them (His temple is also gigantic) while Eventru has 5-6. I think Raezon has 5-6 too.

Yeah.
Fain's area is huge and he has tons of the things, while all the rest seem to have a small fraction of the number (all of them, more than just Eventru and Raezon).

I would also like to see this as something that could be a foot in the door to tweak cults a bit. Since they are Order confined. Give them some cult rituals that benefit the godrealms or Order Wars.

I think it's being rather overlooked that, while this is a mechanic, the divine and their RP will play a rather large part in any wars that occur (or, at least, should). This opens the door for more than just the usual polarization, especially as the gods are, in the end, admin characters, with an overall eye for the land as a whole, and I can conceivably see them leading their loyal fanatics against the usual allies of convenience for the sake of RP and ideals. Frankly, I'd not be surprised to see Fain, for example, just as likely to start a fight with a Glom god as with a Celestian one, given how Glom has treated him and his.
I think, should that type of schism occur, however, the onus will be on the players to respect it and the overall effects it will have, and restrain themseves from jumping at the chance to capitalize on their divided enemies (be that Seren/Celest or Mag/Glom), as third parties joining in will just reinforce the good/bad split we have now.
However, perhaps I'm cynical, but I doubt that restraint will exist, so....so much for that outlook...

I like the same thoughts Sadhyra and I wish city/commune didn't have such open laws protesting certain gods. I know for a fact a few Mags who are with Glom gods and Gloms who are with Mag gods. I personally love any conflict that makes people fight themselves. If I had the chance, I would gladly kill off Legion followers for Fain or fight Gloms to force them to follow Fain. It would be fun RP and break apart whats the usual thing. Its too bad the horde won't do things like this.

In all honesty, the players can't police themselves, we all know this. We can sit and say "it should be about orders not orgs", but you can bet that should any two Orders go to war that would normally have their base orgs as allies, there will be jumping in by other parties to push a massive split on the org level.
Half the Order wars that have ever happened have been for this purpose to begin with.
