What enchanting?

(Cubes last a long, long time, and it's possible to get one filled even if you are anti-city! And who needs sigils, anyways...)

Gloms seem to buy the most sigils from me chin.gif

Maybe that's an indication that the comment wasn't entirely serious.

Just maybe.

I don't get why so many wants these two places to come so badly? Are lusternia players that party-starverd that they need a conspiracy lead party city?

Just because, why limit yourself to only two elements? It's time to open the bag and start fueling the fire. Don't forget about Hallifax , Gaudiguch's natural enemy either. Hallifax can go two ways now With the dracnari and lucidians living together they can be either peaceful or have war like Celest and Magnagora.
Saaga2008-12-28 20:52:59
And think of the new political influences! New alliances will be formed, wars will break, conspiracies...
Unknown2008-12-28 21:20:28
perhaps the end of Celenwilde!
*hope hope*

But seriously, adding just a single additional org would completely disrupt the balance of the basin currently, and we need something to break up the status quo. Serenwilde and Celest have ample IC reasons to hate each other, and yet it's still snugglefest. Adding another political influence would break up things as they stand, I think

One of the admin have also said that if they ever add an org, it'll be released as a pair. Probably for the reason Nys mentioned.

Behold:

Celenwildaugichifax
Astraea2008-12-28 22:36:28
If that happened, I'd probably have to just petition to have Glom made into a village, just in order to save us all the griefing.

In the mean time you can petition that Anisu may walk your forest so she can fall in love with one of your many single residents. suspicious.gif

maybe...

If you would be so kind

what brought this thread on anyway? The lords going to the dream realm?

Wait, I thought the Fire Plane was destroyed somehow?
Esano2008-12-29 01:33:13
No, the Fire and Air planes (and the Vortex and the Continuum) were both locked away in time with Gaudiguch and Hallifax.

Nope, the general consensus is that the Fire and Air Planes, because they are connected to the Gaudiguch and Hallifax nexuses of power, are cut off just like the cities. The two cosmic planes associated with the two cities (the names of which escape me, naturally) are in the same boat as the elemental planes.

That being said, in theory, no one knows what has actually happened to these planes, so they could be destroyed for all we know.

For some reason we got bards and monks instead of gaudiguch and hallifax. sad.gif

I would so much rather have seen the archetypes we already have, like mages and guardians, developed even further. The politics and conflicts created by adding two more cities rather than 8 new guilds to the cities we already have would have been so much better. Even if they added Ackleberry, Gaudiguch, AND Hallifax, that would have been 9 new guilds. Only one more than they added by implementing monks and bards. And now, if those three are ever released, doesn't that mean they would need five guilds a piece, to be equal with the other orgs?

I saw the release of Bards and Monks as being the nail in the coffin when it came to getting new orgs. I hope I'm wrong, but whatever. :\\

EDIT: Not to mention that monks and bards sent the combat balance of Lusternia into a chaotic down spin that still hasn't been completely pulled out of. Were cities using the same archetypes had been released instead, I doubt balance would have been so badly effected.

In conclusion, delete monks/bards, add in the new orgs. :|

One of the admin (Auseklis) said that if they ever add an org it WOULDN'T be released as a pair because of the immense amount of work that would take.
Rika2008-12-29 01:47:05
Oh, okay. Doesn't really concern me. It'd probably be Ackleberry, then. dunno.gif
Shiri2008-12-29 01:52:59
I'm hoping Jojobo, but I suspect one of the cities if anything (ever) because I think they know they would have to do some dramatic playerbase-annoying stunts to get Ackleberry not on the side of Serenwilde. (I mean, there'd still be a "but Ackleberry should hate Serenwilde because of the taint wars abandonment!" brigade but they probably would be outnumbered.)

Pish! They said it'd be impossible to make Glomdoring not be in bed with Magnagora!

Oh, wait.

I've been hoping Jojobo would be released as just a place for players to go, a new huge environment with NPC's, quests, and a ton of jungle creatures to hunt. smile.gif
